Had to have the surgery, spent five weeks on bed rest, wore a hinged leg brace for over three months, and spent the following six months in rehab and physical therapy. This is where I had to attend my physical therapy sessions for one hour three days a week. Two physiotherapists in particular that helped me were Mary and Kirsty. Big kudos to those two that encouraged me. They are knowledgeable and very experienced at what they do. They mostly massaged by thigh and had me doing leg strengthening exercises.
