I explained that's for my 5 cents in change. She told me "we don't take unnecessary money!" I was so dumbfounded by the idiotic remark! i did tell her this money is necessary and got no response. Prices on the plants are rather high especially if you are used to shopping at big box stores or Forest Hill nurseries. I stopped in today to check out the pumpkins for my fall display, they were priced at least two dollars a piece more than the local supermarkets and Walmart. So I won't be getting my pumpkins here. But I did find some nice fall decor items on sale inside the store. It seems that management is not concerned about how their displays are presented inside or accessibility of merchandise. Lighting is dim in many areas and I found that merchandise was blocked by boxes in several aisles and an employee told me I would just have to dig behind the boxes for an item ( that was not on sale). Needless to say the inside is a Christmas world most of the year. They have all manner of ribbon, decorative items and ornaments. They even have some women's clothing that they are selling now in the front of the store which does not seem to go with the theme of this store. But it is safe to say that this is more of a decorator store and plant nursery. Staff is usually friendly at the register and the store smells great!
