Hobby Lobby has always been my "go to" store. i dropped in to buy a small bottle of acrylic paint. The cashier totaled my sale. $1.08. I handed her $1.13. She gave the 3 cents back. I explained that's for my 5 cents in change. She told me "we don't take unnecessary money!" I was so dumbfounded by the idiotic remark! i did tell her this money is necessary and got no response. The line was long, and I put away the 3 cents. When she handed me the 2 cents change, I held my hand out and told her..you see this 2 cents, the 3 cents I gave you initially would've made 5 cents. I got no remark. Omg! Is it too much to ask for the younger generation to use their brains and learn simple math? read more

I wish the process were consistent with what they label and what they sent on emails. Yesterday mostly all items in the store was 40% off when you go to check out no 40% is taken off you end up waiting in line to see if the price is correct to where you just have to walk the hell out of there. Walking through this craft star is like walking through a Walmart Supercenter! It's huge. Selection is good, holidays come early and returns are easy. However, shop at your own hazard if you aren't using your 40% off one item daily coupon - as prices are pretty steep here. Watch for their 50% off specials. Great store and it was pretty clean, cashier was very sweet and we found everything we were looking for!

Like always I leave with a full cart and a not so full bank account, but hey that's okay! The staff here is very friendly, very willing to help, and the store is always so clean. They have great deals, the isles are always very organized, and there is always something on sale! Hobby Lobby is definitely one of my favorite stores, just wish it was a little closer to where I lived! read more
