So, Hobby Lobby has beautiful things and all the crafts. However, their prices are sketchy. Pay…read morevery close attention when they ring you up. HL doesn't use barcodes, they scan what is on the package. Many times you will find different prices on the same product. Also, if there is signage stating a sale they enjoy misleading you by placing it above items making it seem as though everything within that area is good for that sale, even in fact they will claim it is only good for the color red or green or some other bs. Finally, when you get to the registers and you tell them something is on sale, they will argue with you until you get their manager. Particularly, the greasy haired "Trey", at the Mount Vernon, IL store, who had all the personality and charm of a banana slug. It was 50% off Trey, you cretin. For being Christians, they sure enjoy breaking the "though shall not steal" rule an awful lot. Shameful. Wish it wasn't the only craft store in town.

We have never used an interior designer before, but we knew that we did not posses the skills to decorate our house in a manner that made sense. The go-to colors for my wife and I are brown, tan, light brown, beige, and slightly darker tan.... We wanted color, but were hesitant to tackle it ourselves. I called Lindsay and she explained her process to us. She explained that she works to help us select furnishings that compliment our home, while bringing color into the space. I told her that we didn't want the typical unused formal living and dining areas. We wanted the space to be functional, welcoming, and comfortable. Lindsay absolutely crushed it! We absolutely love the results. She helped us select new floors, a new sectional, a dining room set, curtains, curtain rods, wine bar, coffee bar, and all the decorations and paintings to really tie the rooms together. There is plenty of color in the room, but it is not over bearing. The colors compliment each other and really bring the space together nicely! I can't say enough good things about Lindsay! DO NOT use this company. Shane will take your money, no work will be done, and you will not see…read moreyour money or him again. Buyer beware! He asked for half down for materials for our small stamped concrete project in May of 2021, he kept putting off the project, I would reach out and not hear back for a week or more at a time. Always had more excuses. We are now over two months out from when we gave him money with no work started. We requested our money back and having to threaten legal action he finally responded and told us he would send a check. Well you guessed it, still haven't received that and don't plan to as he will not respond to any texts or calls. I have been in contact with a few others that he has treated the same. One person has waited over a year to have their work done and he keeps blowing them off with no refund. There are news articles and forum posts about this guy scamming people, unfortunately they weren't posted until after we 'hired' him. He has numerous past small claims cases against him in Clinton County, IL. Check the comments in all the reviews on Facebook for a news article. We will be reaching out to our local news station as well, hopefully it will prevent others from getting scammed by Shane.
