At times I had to wait outside his private gym in cold as he was easily 5 to 10 minutes late and not very professional about it and showing little to no care attitude, once even he cancelled the session in the last minute when I was waiting out side his gym and waiting for him to let me in and only then I received a text that he is out of town and couldn't inform me before as his mobile battery was low, he told me this in a very unapologetic and as unprofessional way as possible. I had a plan for a holiday which i discussed with Marco from the very beginning and in the end he told me that lots of sessions has been missed because of my holiday plan. I still have two session left with him which I wanted to have a refund for as I was literally feeling not motivated because of Marco's work ethic and also there was no contract signed, and he told me that he wont refund any money, instead asked more money to book more sessions with him. Extremely unprofessional attitude overall and seemed unconcerned about the clients progress and motivation. If anyone wants to waste money and lose any motivation then definitely Marco is your guy.

Ben focuses on weight training - the area of the gym I used to shy away from! - but as well as an instructor you effectively get a nutritionist, life coach, and all round lovey guy! He somehow manages to make every lesson enjoyable, and the learning I've gained on diet and wellness will stay with me throughout life. I do both single and double lessons with my partner - I really enjoy both types. Having rarely done weight training before Ben (I pretty much only did cardio) I will also admit I was slightly skeptical when I started; to find I'd been training the wrong way pretty much all my life! This time I really wanted to get it right and stick to it. A friend recommended PT, at first I didn't really consider it for myself, thinking it would be expensive and something only celebrity's do. However the more I though about it the more I felt that investing in my health was something I felt was important. I did some investigation into local trainers in my area, I messaged some and asked about rates, availability and training however to be honest I was completely new to exercise and was pretty unsure what I was looking for. I had had responses from lots of PTs I reached out to however I felt a little overwhelmed on who to go with- some were asking for money before I had met them; which I didn't feel comfortable with. What if their training style wasn't for me? What if I felt uncomfortable and didn't want to go back, yet had paid up front for sessions? With Simon there was none of this, in the first instance he invited me to meet him for a no obligation chat about what I was looking to achieve, and to discuss how he could help. They're obviously stocked with the latest equipment and there might not be a single machine that you might want and they don't have. It comes well packed with a cafe with internet access and makes your day a well spent one.
