Another one was $20,000 One was $14,000 but I didn't like the guy Finally, we settled on Installers Now, LLC for $13,950 for the complete roof. Extra things come up on the job, like broken gutters and the installation of a bathroom rooftop exhaust fan. Only $800 for the 5 different extras. The boss and owner. Benjamin Mancillas was wonderful to work with!!! On-time and very polite on my exhaustive questions about the job Excellent warranty on their work. They showed up yesterday and did the whole job in one day, and it was beautifully done. Very, very good cleanup!! I mowed the lawn today and did not see, one rooftop piece or roof nail. I am very, very happy with the work!! Thanks everyone for your help, I thought you might find it interesting, the final result. Frank and Sheila 5117 Comanche Way

I had other inquiries regarding related issues and he helped me identify other work that should be done in conjunction with a roof replacement. I had him compete with three other companies nonetheless. He made every effort to win the contract but he wasn't pushy and only replied when I initiated contact first. I felt like I was dealing with a neighbor, not a salesperson. It was a tough decision but his personal touch closed the deal. When the day came to do the work, the crew was onsite right away and went straight to work. They were not disruptive and got the job done in less than one day. They didn't damage my lawn with their equipment and they checked multiple times that they cleaned up properly and didn't miss anything. They are a local company that I highly recommend.

My spouse and I scheduled a consultation and while the sales rep who came was moderately pushy, we ultimately decided to purchase six new windows. I had to reschedule once due to my spouse having Covid, additionally the instillation needed to be rescheduled again due to an inclement snowstorm, and the installers feeling unsafe (which I was fully supportive of, I did not want anyone getting hurt). The problem lies with communication. Our sales rep was supposed to be our "point of contact", however he has been extremely unhelpful, even going as far as reading and choosing to not reply to messages that were sent about the weather on the 2nd installation date; I tried to inform the sales rep it was unsafe for the installers to come due to a recent snow storm, and yet they showed up anyway - which was not their fault, they had not been informed. Additionally we have vaulted ceilings, which would typically not be a problem for instillation, if the proper pictures were taken and sent to the installers. Our sales rep did not take appropriate pictures, and did not send a proper description of the project to the installers, so they were unaware they needed a lift to access the windows. Currently the windows are being installed, and lo-andbehold the installers come without a lift saying they were unaware a lift was needed - which is not their fault, it should have been communicated to them... If you like good windows at a decent price, but don't mind poor communication, this is the company for you. *I will say the customer service over the phone has been great and the installers have been nothing but friendly - but I did have to shampoo the rugs after they left.

The trim piece under our picture window is 8 feet long and it is just held there by chalk. It broke loose once and they came and recaulked it in place. Now it is falling off again, allowing water to get behind our siding. Called 2 months ago, then called 2 more times to get a call back. They finally called and said for $200 they would recaulk it in place. It is to long and heavy for caulk to hold it. When the wind is out of the south our curtains move. You can tell there is no insulation in there. The traffic noise is very loud compared to our old windows. Bottom line is Bad Company with cheap quality products and piss poor service!!!!!

I had looked at the door, having taken framing courses, and knew it wasn't going to straight forward to remove the trim. I told the tech that and also said I hoped to replace the door with a new one soon that was energy efficient. Because I said that, they agreed to do my door as these 75yo doors can take cosmetic damage to remove the pane. Again, the glazer arrived on time. The end result, which he was proud of, was a tiny hole and a tiny crack ( easily filled with wood caulk if I cared). It was great! He was done quickly and I can't thank them more. Likewise with my SIL. But hey, cardboard and duct tape was more energy efficient during those really frigid days!

During the two winters, my wife would complain that it was colder than normal when she sits next to the window, but I just mistook that as normal as she is sitting next to huge windows. Well, few days ago, with the huge storm we got hit, we had water coming through the glass that this company has installed. Water was pouring in through the gaps. Well this explain my wife complain the colder air coming through. It doesn't seem the company sealed the glass very well when installing. It is amazing that Martin Glass after I emailed them told me that this is normal. This is the response I got from Martin Glass; "The water filtration is unlikely to be caused by glass installation. Big rain storms with driving rain can cause minor water filtration." This wasn't minor water filtration, this was me wiping the water and it would come in right away, and there is no way that any air or water coming in through the glass is normal. This is not through the glass but through the outside the structure that the glass sits in. I do have a video but posting it here is not possible. Check the google review.

I wish I could give Champion Windows a negative star review. If I could, I definitely would. Long…read morestory short...Do NOT order anything from Champion Windows of Madison!!! They'll take your money and then you'll never hear anything from them again. We had a project with them back in 2014, where we had 5 windows and a sliding door installed, and everything went great. The price was right, they got the windows/door in when they said, installed them when they said, and the installers were great. Recently we bought 6 windows from them back on Sept. 3rd, 2020, and they said (because of C19), it would take 10-14 weeks to get them in and get them installed. We were OK with that, as we were not in any hurry, and we understood things were a bit wonky with C19. After 10 weeks, we hadn't even received one update from anybody at Champion, to let us know what was the status of our order or anything. Not one! I called their "customer service number", at least 8-10 times, as I wanted to talk to someone, but no answer. After calling and leaving at least a dozen messages, I finally got a call back, from someone in their customer service dept. They said the windows would be in shortly and they would be able install them as soon as they came in. Two weeks later, I got a call to let me know the windows were in and they could come and install them that day. I told them to come and install them ASAP. The installers showed up, but they could not install the windows because they were the wrong size. Apparently the people measuring do not know how to read a tape measure. A couple of the windows were over 3" off. Unbelievable. The installers were NOT happy, as they had to come all the way from Milwaukee. They remeasured and told me the 2nd set of windows would be reordered and would be in within 10 business days. Two weeks later, no update from Champion. Not one peep. I called the customer service guy I had been working with, to try and get an update, and he informed me he no longer worked for Champion and had no information for me. I tried calling the local Champion office, left half a dozen messages messages, not one call-back. Again, not a peep. That was back in February. It is now almost April. So, long story short, on our 6 window install project: Ordered and paid for 1/2 the project on Sept. 3rd, 2020. After dozens of non-returned phone calls, after dozens of non-returned texts to their customer service personnel, after getting the windows that were the wrong size, and after almost 7 months of non-existent customer service, I still do not have my windows. I have been trying for several days to contact Champion Windows to cancel the project and get my money back, left a number of messages, but, again...which is the norm for Champion Windows so-called Customer Service...I have not received any communication from them. Nothing. Zero. Nada. Zilch. I tried calling them again today (03/29/2021) and nobody will answer the phone. So, long story short...my recent experience with Champion Windows of Madison has been ABSOLUTELY HORRIFFIC and NEVER again will they see a penny of my hard-earned money. My advice, avoid this company at all costs. Go with Mad City Windows, Felco, or any other window company that might actually provide what you pay for.
