We didn't stay at the inn, but did attend one of their lovely wine dinners. Great food and interesting wines and super friendly (english and spanish speaking) staff. If you are staying in Puligny, this is a great evening out. read more

Dinner for 2. Excellent!…read more SERVICE: 5.0. We were very fortunate to be able to dine on the terrace on a warm September evening, as seating was limited due to COVID and consequent staffing issues. The service was attentive, warm, and accomodating. AMBIANCE: 4.5. Evening on the terrace (which faces East) was pleasant. FOOD: 4.5. Everything was excellent. - 5.0: (Appetizer) Marinated grilled seasonal vegetables. Excellent; eggplant exceptional. - 4.5: (Main dish) Coxinha de poulet noir fermier de Burgogne with vegetables. Very nice. - 4.5: (Main dish) Fish of the day (Salmon) with vegetables. - 5.0: (Dessert) Crème Brulée. Served in a shallow dish. Crust was nice and thin. Outstanding. Rich wine and apertif selection.

We asked our hotel to pick another close restaurant and they chose, Le Chevreuil. At first arrival, we felt like they may not be open. We poked our heads in a little more and noticed staff on the patio in the back. They welcomed us in and we sat outside overlooking the village of Meursault. We did not order wine. I know, we are in the heart of the French wine country, but, in our defense, we had three different wine tastings earlier that day. Don't @ me. The menus are in French. We asked for an English version and they did not have one. Lucky for us, our hostess was kind enough to walk us through damn near everything on the menu. I say lucky, because the first dish I tried to google translate came up "spider" which would have made everything wrong in the world. My wife ordered chicken dish and I had the three course with dessert. They brought mini french breads and a small cup of some soup for my wife when they brought my zucchini bowl of Art. I could have just sat and at the zucchini Art bowl all night. It was a delight. Creamy, crunchy, salty, sweet, almost every experience for the mouth in a single dish. The beef was cooked Sous vide which I think makes meat perfect. The reduction was exquisite and could be sold in a jar or by the gallon. My wife enjoyed her chicken dish although she is always hesitant to eat chicken with the bones in place. We Americans are sometimes spoiled with our food preparations. Dessert was again, a work of art as is most of the food outside of Paris. I am so happy that the fist restaurant was closed because this was our last night in Meursault and in Bourgogne.

The wine list is extensive with four DRC bottles in their cellar. The hotel has its own cellar where the wine tasting is individual only (no group tastings) and tailored towards all levels of tasting. The bartender is very nice and the hotel owner hangs out at night to welcome you and knows the details of your stay. They arrange to call domaines as well to help you with wine tastings.

We booked a suite that was quite large and had a beautiful bathtub. This hotel has such warmth and character and you really feel like your stepping back into time. The lobby area is very historic feeling and is the perfect place to cozy up to the fire and have a glass of burgundy. The staff went our of their way to be helpful, particularly Jean Claude. This hotel is a large part of the reason we fell head over heels for Beaune.

This is the most charming tiny little hotel in the World…read more Book a room, arrive silently, drop your luggage and enjoy the calm of this small town. It's only three stars, but oh-so-charming. At the restaurant, everything is amazing. It does not matter what you choose. Since this place lost their Michelin star around 2002, it has been fantastic. Pay extra attention to their amuse-bouches. The chef considers those his personal culinary expressions. Order a dish with a wine leaf and watch the waitress take it off a tree across the street. This place has the most impeccable Burgundy cellar I've ever seen. Beware of wines beyond their peak - what a difference compared to all the restaurants with 2005 as their oldest vintage! Note: Domaine Leflaive is right next door, but don't expect to get in. Just buy some 2000 1er Cru (Les Follatieres, Pucelles or Batards) at the restaurant.

When i went to my room, I noticed it wasn't cleaned. The bathroom has pubic hairs in the tub and there appeared to be sexual stains on the toilet. I was forced to use the public restroom in the lobby until the room was cleaned the next day. Staff is rude. The rooms aren't cleaned. Not worth it. There are better options literally everywhere.
