ME & Moore Farm's pumpkin patch is now open (since yesterday, normally they do not open on Sundays…read morebut did for this special day). My husband and I decided to make a stop by this smally family owned farm, hoping to see pumpkins and purchase some vegetables and fruits. Unfortunately this farm is not dog friendly so our little girl stayed in the car (please note that the temperature was cold and had lightly rained earlier so she was not overheated while she waited a short time for us). We walked inside the open air store and ended up purchasing 2 Empire apples and one zucchini. We haven't had the chance to cook the zucchini yet (will do so tomorrow once we arrive at our AirBnB that has a kitchen) but we ate the apples and they were nice and crisp. The skin of the apple was thick but was good. Loved the color of this apple and the creaminess of the inside. Service was generally friendly and quick (but we were not acknowledged when we first came in, as the 2 employees were having a conversation between themselves, with the backs turned). The unisex restroom that I used was clean and adequately stocked with the essentials. Overall, had a nice experience and would consider coming back if I lived in the area.

We got to have a little "Stardew Valley" moment and it was so memorable. The flowers we got turned into the most beautiful bridal bouquet and stunning boutonnieres, I didn't have to spend a fortune on florals, and I couldn't be happier!

We picked a watermelon and 1/2 bucket of apples. I feel like the apples were either under ripe or overripe. 1/2 bucket $8.50 full bucket $17. Watermelon upick is $6. They did have already picked buckets that you could just purchase a higher price. I didn't catch the price of the veggies or flowers. I will go back to check out the pears in a few weeks.

I was here for apples, and they had a ton of options. They were very friendly and patiently explained the process. You fill buckets and then pay at the end. They have pull carts so you can move multiple buckets around. There are so many varieties of apples! There is a chart at the entrance to the orchard with the names and what purpose is best for each kind of apple (eating, baking, applesauce). They also let you sample the apples to help with the selection process. The orchards extend farther than was apparently from the parking lot. It was peaceful at the far end of some of the rows, and we found plenty of apples. It can be muddy, so boots are probably a good idea. It was a lovely fall day, with blue skies. This was a fun way to connect with the season and to become more familiar with where some of our food comes from. Highly recommended.

The carving pumpkins are $0.47 a pound and the fancy pumpkins are $0.60 a pound. There are plenty of 4-wheel wagons to haul your picks back to the parking area. They sell individual tickets or all-inclusive wristbands for the covered maze, petting zoo, corn shots, hay ride, etc. Don't miss the cider barn with ice cold cider slushies and fresh, hot cinnamon sugar mini donuts! Worth every calorie, I promise! Their snack shack has burgers, hot dogs, fries, sodas, and more. All in all, we had a great time enjoying the sunshine, family time, good food, and the beautiful pumpkins!
