Malincho's has a great variety of Bulgarian, Romanian and Eastern European foods and products. Every time I go there I find some nostalgic food and sweets I grew up with as well as the classic Romanian traditional foods like "Zacusca" , "Salam de Sibiu" , "Eugenia", "Mici" and many more. They also have freshly baked "plăcinte cu brânză" which they call "banitza" or something like that. All I know is that me and my American boyfriend never leave the place without a warm one. All the ladies there are so sweet and helpful and they also have great deals in their sale section! If you are Eastern European or just an adventurous foodie, you must try Malincho's!

While I was doing that, the gentleman (not sure if he was the owner or just an employee) that was sitting at the register watching a show on a tablet or phone (didn't really care). He never acknowledged me or greeted me. Once I decided I wanted to try their plate meal with a protein of my choice, I noticed one of the sides was rice or fries; I walked over to ask him a question about not having either and sub with like extra hummus or something different. His reluctantly looked up from his show and immediately said "no" abruptly and went back to watching his show. Needless to say, I decided he was clearly not interested in serving me at all. So I walked out. While I understand some menus are set, he could have responded a little differently. Nonetheless, since he was not interested in serving me, I had opted not to give him my money too. These items were cooked to order, hot and fresh, and the best part is the price. $6.75 with tax as of today 8/8/22. Very filling and quite affordable. I paid $10 for a breakfast burrito from one of those "bertos" places last week and it didn't come with fries. Hardest part is not gambling while there.
