Normal prophylaxis charge is a little over $100 which is covered by insurance. He bills for a "Periodontal Maintenance" at $173, of which not all is covered by insurance, so you have additional co-pays. Insurance allows for x-rays every OTHER cleaning, but he wants x-rays EVERY cleaning at a cost of $227 that insurance will not pay. He requires payments on the day of services that I didn't mind, but when he was paid from my insurance carrier, I requested a refund of the overpayment, and never heard back from them. Not once did I call the office and actually get someone to answer. The only way they will call you back is if you are a new patient, and are requesting an office visit. I sent a letter with all my insurance payments he received asking for a refund since I was no longer using his office, and it was ignored. I have since found a new dentist that works with my insurance company and their requirements on dental health. I would never recommend this office to anyone. Stay clear!

This man kept calling me my love even when I asked him not to and I found this to be highly inappropriate. I was becoming very uncomfortable. The dental hygienist then approached me with a 780.00 bill and when I told him I would prefer not to have a deep cleaning, he said if you don't I can't clean your teeth and refused to give me my 6 month cleaning by stating I was a liability for not accepting the deep cleaning and paying 780.00. I should have taken him and had a second opinion by a non pediatric dentistry office before I scheduled his dental work. I did half of the stuff then decided to take him to our family dental office to get a second option on the additional stuff they wanted to do. Our family dentist said what they wanted to do was absolutely crazy why would you crown a baby teeth that are about to come out just do a filling or pull them. (We already had two of the teeth crowned at the pediatric office) those crowned teeth fell out less than 3 months later. On top of that I guess our insurance did not cover $161.20 of the bill they billed to my dental insurance. I travel a lot for work and didn't see the bill come in and they sent it to collection and added additional $100 on top of the balance. Talk about being crooked. Proceed with caution
