I had made an appointment for her to replace 2 crowns on 2 teeth that would also be seen when I smile. I had the appointment & made a 250$ deposit, initially I wasn't happy with the implant crown- it was too white and even stuck out a bit, but decided not to make a big deal about it. My teeth are white- but not as white as the crown and it wasn't until I saw a picture of me smiling that I realized how bad it looked. 24hrs before, I cancelled my appointment to have the other crowns replaced because I was concerned about them not being able to match these crowns either. I then made an appointment to see Dr Parsons to see if there was anything they could do this implant crown. Dr Parsons literally spent less than 1-2 minutes with me. I was with the assistant, who was very rude to me. I wanted to talk to DR PARSONS because she is the DENTIST! The assistant couldn't even answer all of my questions, and it was clear that both she AND Dr Parsons were put out by the fact that I was there. I looked again, with the assistant, at other colors to possibly replace the crown with but we couldn't find one. My concern about getting new crowns not matching were quite real. Thank goodness I cancelled the appointment and didn't spend 4,000 bucks on crowns that would look terrible. But I was out 250$ for cancelling my appointment ( I cancelled 24, not 48 hrs prior). I think the reason was understandable, however. I mentioned this to the assistant who said, "well, you should have shown up for your appointment". She could not have have been more snotty! I told her I did cancel more than 24hrs prior. She said, "we booked a lot of time for you." Then she said I should have come in that day to discuss it with Dr Parsons. She was hateful and honestly, it was upsetting. Even after we couldn't match the color of the crown, Dr Parsons couldn't be bothered to come back in. I just to go to my other dentist who had done all my other work but is 2500 miles away, so next time I fly there to visit my kids I'll have to spend hours at dentist- instead of with my kids. AND I'll have to pay 2,000 dollars to replace the implant crown, plus paying for the other 2 crowns. And I'm out 250$. And I'm on disability- I don't have dental insurance. I've never been treated so badly ever, by any dentist office. They don't care about the quality of their work. Stay away. I wanted to add to this. When I went back to my dentist in CA, they said that the crown should be redone. They also felt it was not only the wrong color, but it's not the right size. They are cosmetic dentists in S Ca and have been in practice over 30yrs. But now I have to pay over 2,000$ for them to replace the crown that Dr Parsons had placed. I paid Dr Parsons over 2,000$. Money WASTED, that I don't have. Dr Parsons is not a cosmetic dentist. She couldn't care less about the work she does-as long as she gets your money. There are things to be taken into consideration when placing a crown- not just color. She should know this.

I came because my gums felt swollen and painful, and I wanted to understand why. While I was trying to explain what I was experiencing, he talked over me instead of listening. He barely allowed me to explain my concern before leaving the room. I was left wondering: If you don't listen to me or take the time to understand what I'm experiencing, how can you properly address the problem? I eventually had to speak with the nurse about why I had come in. Then another dentist came in, and the experience was completely different. She actually sat down, listened to me, had a conversation with me, and explained what was going on. Most importantly, she acknowledged that the pain and swelling I was experiencing were real and that I wasn't imagining it. That left me with two completely different experiences in the same office. And honestly, this is an experience I think a lot of patients can relate to: feeling like you're being treated more like a source of revenue than a patient who needs empathy and care. For me personally, this is one of the reasons I avoid going to the dentist even though I know how important dental care is. Too often, I leave feeling like the financial transaction mattered more than actually understanding what I'm experiencing. I was extremely angry after that first interaction. I actually had to pause myself because of how dismissed and disrespected I felt. If the nurse and the other dentist hadn't stepped in and given me the opportunity to actually explain what was happening, I honestly don't know how that interaction would have ended. I had a great deal of disdain for the way I was treated in that moment. What upset me most wasn't simply the two-hour wait. It was the attitude. I felt as though I was being treated like I was an idiot simply because I was the patient and he was the expert. Being an expert doesn't give you the right to make a patient feel insignificant. Patients come to a dentist because something is wrong and they need answers. Listening isn't a courtesy. It's part of patient care. The second dentist demonstrated exactly what I needed: she listened, took my concern seriously, explained the issue, and made me feel heard. Two dentists. Two completely different experiences. I shouldn't have had to wait two hours and become frustrated enough to nearly lose my composure before someone finally took the time to treat me like a patient.

Girl too 20 minutes to get scan. It seemed forever. Crowns came. Crowns didn't fit. I said because gorl took forever on scan and seemed she was a rookie at it. Doctor did scan this time. It took him only 3 minutes to finish. He returned both bad crowns to lab because didn't fit properly. I had to wait longer again for molars. Crowns came again. Fit is only ok. Not perfect. Teeth so tight together I can't floss properly. I told Doctor but he complained that he would have to take crown off and sand it down to fit. He said it's supposed to be tight so no food gets in. I said what? He finally sanded or whatever he did to widen gap. Cleanings went ok there. The hygienist has language barriers. Front desk Heather was the best employee. Went back for exam with Dr. Espinoza and he said I have a huge cavity in tooth 19. I would need a root canal and a crown. I went to another dentist to get second opinion. This doctor said I do not have a cavity in tooth 19. Only slight bone loss which will be watched.

Which in my opinion is not bad for the services I received. The office is very clean and well presented. Front desk staff were on point. My hygienist was excellent. She took a million x rays and probably got every single angle possible. I have not seen a dentist in 4 years prior and thankfully no issues were found. My cleaning was longer than any other I remember. She paid attention to every detail and my teeth feel AMAZING. She pointed out some stains I have due to coffee and wine (oops). But said with regular cleanings she could get them removed. I will be back in 6 months. I have been showing everyone my teeth because they really look and feel amazing now! My visit with the dentist was brief but he did answer any questions I had. I believe my hygienist name was Yasmin. There was a slightly language barrier but I didn't mind. She knows her stuff and really did a great job. Will request her next time. I can't comment on any of the actual dental work considering I had no issues with my teeth. But for a normal checkup/cleaning I would recommend this office.

They were calling to ask if I could stop in to talk to Dr. S, about my bad tooth. About an hour later they called again to Ask to ask if I could come in 15 mins earlier that the the agreeded upon 4:15. I say of course. I had errands to run by but I did I had 1 important errand to run. I arrived about 3:55pm and the office was totally full of ppl waiting. But hey, it was only a short talk, right? I had to pick up my husband heart Medication by 5:00 pm. I waited an hour and it was now 4:50 and I heard doctor walk into another persons room. When that happened I knew I had to leave and I was really upset. I could have run out and picked up the medicine and return to "The Waiting Line" and talked to the dr. I was upset and just left. I called the next day to schedule an actual appointment, and was told by the same person who asked me to come in earlier for a quick talk -I was told that she'd ask the dr if I could schedule one and hung up on me. I called back later and told her I was ready to have tooth pulled and an implant. He took my apt. I was alsso told that if I ever leave an apt or reschedule another apt. Plus she told me that I had to pay for "The Visit" I left b4. I didn't have an apt, it was suppose to b in and out talk. Right! Question: what would u do? My time is just as important to me as his is to hIm. I really liked him and I miss him. HOW LONG DO YOU WAIT? How about not scheduling 6 months ahead of time. Other things happen during a 6 month period. I had to reschedule 1 apt a few weeks b4 as my car wouldn't start. New battery put in that night.
