I was presented with several options, which included laser gum treatment with a filler of bone graft. After weighing pros and cons, I opted for extraction of the molar with an eventual implant. The decision to extract and implant was in my view, solving the problem for life....if there such a thing. Pre op and post op I was treated with care and concern. Dr Taylor is personable as is his wonderful staff. Every effort was put forth to make me comfortable and at ease. The extraction went great, I healed beautifully, and I didn't need the medication for pain relief, although I may be in the minority. After several months, it was time for the implant. This time I went in with even more ease knowing I was in good hands recalling how smoothly the extraction went. I was shown the implant, the procedure was explained, and I asked questions which may have sounded a bit silly, but they were answered with concern and respect. Following both procedures, the office made a phone call to my home that evening to ask how I was doing. I was happy to report that all was well and that after a few hours of rest I was up and about with my regular routine. The literature and post op instructions were easy to understand and follow. If there is such a thing.........I had a great experience undergoing an unpleasant procedure! I would recommend Dr Ryan Taylor and his staff to anyone without hesitation!

In December 2025, after taking full mouth X-ray, the treatment plan was put together that included ten procedures focusing on five teeth. The plan implied that the procedures will be covered by my UHC dental insurance. The dental office even suggested to do this in ONE urgent visit- for efficiency and for my own convenience. However, having learned a few uncomfortable lessons from dealing with other dental offices, I decided to start with the most problematic tooth and stay within the insurance allowance for 2025. I explicitly stated to the office my intentions of not exceeding the insurance limit and of avoiding out-of-the pocket expenses. The remaining procedures were left for 2026 to be pre-approved by UHC. The reality: In the 1st claim submitted to UHC after tooth extraction, the procedure D7953 ($726) has been denied. Dr Estrin was asked by UHC reviewer to justify the necessity of this procedure. Apparently, he was not able to convince either UHC... or me. In the claims reviews (copied to patients by UHC) there were no signs of additional clarifications or re-submissions from the dental office. Moreover, in the following "pre-approval" letters from UHC for 2026: ALL remaining procedures were denied! Well, I've seen things, but this was an impressive record! So, if I've swallowed the dental office bite and agreed to that ONE-FOR-ALL visit treatments in 2025, I would be on a hook for around $7500 out of my pocket! This deceptive way of treating patients and their finances is unacceptable! The sign in front of the Ryan C. Taylor Periodontics claims: "We accept most of dental insurances". Ohh, swell! But what about making real effort to defend their insurance claims and save patients out-of-pocket costs?

It turns out, the dental office don't actually submit the work to your insurance company before hand, unless you specifically request it. Turns out my insurance compony denied it and wouldn't cover any of it, so I'm on the hook for another $1500.00. Why do they draw up the plan and costs and have you sign paperwork, without actually seeing what your true cost is. This has never happened to me in 57 years of going to a dentist, I truly feel scammed with Krause. I will no longer be going there.

To be prepared, I called my hometown dentist and he told me to be prepared for at least two crowns. When I visited Dr. Simpkins's office, everyone could not have been nicer. The front office staff and assistants were superb. Instead of crowns or new veneers, Dr. Simpkins, recommended that she re-glue the piece onto my tooth. I was in dire need of a dentist as I was having pain in tooth #11 top left which is an anchor tooth…read morefor a 5 piece bridge. I saw 2 dentists prior who did not want to work on a 5 piece bridge so when I came across Dynamic Dental I made the HUGE mistake of going there.  The dentist there said I needed a root canal on the anchor tooth and so she removed my great bridge (which I had for more than 21 yrs and fit perfectly), and after the root canal put on a horrible badly made temporary bridge. It was uncomfortable from that day going  forward. (Plus the office staff there tends to be very impatient and condescending.) In the months to follow I was going back & forth with Liberty Dental (and various specialists) trying to get 2 steps covered by insurance which are needed prior to the actual implants plus w a shorter bridge... with no luck. Then about 2 months ago  I started having a lot of pain and swelling near that same #11 tooth so I went back to the Dynamic Dental dentist who showed no empathy & very condescendingly said "Well you had it done awhile ago! It wasn't meant as a permanent bridge so why didn't you have the implants done??! (She obviously seems to think everyone has $6000 just laying around and I had to tell her I don't!! I'm a single senior and my only income is Social Security!!) She said she wouldn't do a 5 piece bridge so I left and went to another dentist for a 2nd opinion who at least took an xray & said to see an Endodontist for an opinion. I called Dynamic Dental 1 more time for help since she's the one who made the temporary bridge & was told in a dismissive manner to see an endodontist.  I then went to an endodontist who did xrays and said he didn't see a root infection and that the bridge was poorly made which is cutting my gums causing the infection....and to go back to Dynamic Dental. I then went to 2 Sage Dental offices to see a dentist & a periodontist who also agreed the bridge is cutting into my gums causing infection so it needs to be removed, address the infection, do 2 implants and a short bridge. (I am still trying to get funding for the 2 steps needed prior to the actual implants...and meanwhile am having constant pain, headaches, tmj pain and stomach upset from the infection leaking from that area! I've since requested 2x that Dynamic Dental have my records/xrays to be sent to Sage or emailed to me and have not received them!  I would NOT recommend the Dynamic Dental dentist to anyone after receiving poor treatment/customer service & my experiences there.
