We missed so many shops in Michigan because they wouldn't allow well behaved dogs! Their loss! The owner, Sabrina, is as sweet as her shop! There are SO many wonderful things at reasonable prices and the place is bigger than it looks! It's neat, tidy, and well organized. My only complaint is that it is over 2 hours from where I live! I found a sweet artist print that I took home but had to pass on a furniture piece that we didn't have room for! Don't miss this one if you love antiques, collectibles or home decor!! We will be back again!

We came from Indy and it was worth the trip. We already have plans to come back to try other restaurants and some festivals! What appears as just an antique shop opens up to a surprise little kitchen/menu. They had dirty soda (which my mom was obsessed with), homemade popsicles, a little menu that I believe rotates, cookies, scones, coffee and some other beverages. We got the soup which was corn chowder, orzo shrimp salad, snickerdoodle, monster cookie, and two dirty sodas (coke). I have to say everything was delicious and the staff was super friendly and made you feel welcome. Can't wait to come back!

I didn't know much about the the city but came here for graduate school to study mental health counseling. I walked in to sell a bag full of clothes. I thought they might take a few things. I have the bag to my lady and she went through it with a face of disgust. I was confused because my clothes were freshly washed. I also had name brand clothes in there that were not juvenile clothes. Especially as a young professional. I went up to retrieve my items and the lady pushed it towards me and told me she couldn't take any of it. I said no problem and the lady said bye. I considered buying a paIr of shoes but after that I wanted to leave and never return. I was not upset about not selling anything rather how I was treated. Two middle aged women were in there the whole time and the lady was SO nice to them. I could tell they were shocked at my treatment too. I was suppressed they didn't say anything. To be kind to me though the young graduate student she could care less about.

I spent most of my time in the back room and found several hard to find books in a pretty short time, and left with a big stack and $100 poorer. Specifically, their history, religion, philosophy, nature, and psychology sections were impressive and well-curated. I didn't look at much fiction, but there was plenty of it. The crafts/hobbies sections seemed to skew more towards male-dominated hobbies. The atmosphere of the place was just great and any book lover owes a trip here if they are within 50 miles and have a few hours to spare, although it would take days to look through a good portion of it. Keep in mind that there are maps of the sections and there is also parking behind the building, which seems to go overlooked. To date, this is one of my favorite bookstores of all-time.
