There is a lady that works in the back for donations. She is aggressive, rude and very bossy. I refuse to donate to this location. Their prices are always climbing. Their boutique section is extremely overpriced, too. read more

Organized esthetic, but insane prices! I understand the proceeds go to a Christian Mission, but get real. A donated birdbath, new in box $25?! Mock Instant Pot $40? There was a lot of Lularue, which is essentially Avon for clothing. Somebody apparently decided to clear out their stock and do something else. I flipped through their albums, which consisted mostly of old gospel, Neil Diamond, Captain & Tenille, and found a copy of Dolly Parton's 'Here You Come Again'. Albums were $2 each or 3 for $5, so I found an American Graffiti soundtrack and another, to make the trip worthwhile. read more

I visited this store once and thought it was really great--it had a large selection and good prices. I visited today and couldn't believe my eyes. I went specifically for picture frames and they were $7 for 8x10s! I had almost purchased some last time I went for $2 each. Larger picture frames that were in good shape but were nothing special were $20. I understand that these people want to make money for a good cause, but I can buy a brand new frame for that price. The man at the front desk told me they are under new management and that their prices have been climbing. I was really disappointed to see such a significant hike in prices and hope that they figure out how to price their items a bit better or I won't be visiting again. ** Small mason jars were $2/each. They sell new for $20/12! I just bought some at Franciscan Center for $.49. read more

I have to say this used to be my go to store. I work across the street so everyday I'd come in. Lately I haven't been going much because I can't get over the prices. It seems they have boutique items now. So pass on that. But on the other hand I don't see how a place charges someone $25-$60 for lamps or any household item. I seen items for $125 plus for household. For a place that takes items for free it's pretty sick to see the prices so high. I think people forget people shop in thrift stores because they can't afford brand new things. But I'll just save money and buy it new instead of buying a damaged item or worn out item they have marked high. PASS. SO DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS STORE. OH WELL TILE TO FIND ANOTHER STORE. read more

Treasure House is run by some wonderful folks. They have a wonderful selection of used clothes, shoes, furniture and etc. they even have a little section in the back that is full of some nicer items. These items are either not as used or not used at all. Yet they are still reasonably priced. Also they always have a wide arrange of furniture. read more

Sadly, things have changed. When I wrote my first enthusiastic review in 2013, they were in a different location with different staffing. They have now moved north, and so have the prices. The friendly staff is gone and so are the friendly prices. You used to be able to find cute, unique, vintage items for a great price. Now, anything they believe to be vintage is priced higher than the local antique stores. I rarely stop in any more. It isn't worth my gas or time. read more

I have been constantly ripped off at this store. I have been told that an box of plates was 125.00 dollars from one associate and then a second associate sells the same box to an elderly lady for 5 dollars. the box says the plates are 5 dollars each and yet the cashier, must not have realized that after I was just told the price was 125.00 dollars! My father ambulates in a scooter and it is almost impossible to get around in that store it is so cluttered. most of the furniture is selling for well over 300.00 dollars! They have lost my business because of this and the business of my friends and family as well. They also don't honor their veterans daily 10% off claims and I have only had them once acknowledge the senior discount on Tuesdays. As the review says Eek! methinks not and never again. read more

This was by far the best thrift store in town, but the new location is so incredibly inconvenient that I'll never shop or donate there again. I'm hoping they can find another south side location some day soon. read more
