I'd gone over for a quick run through, looking for nothing in particular. 2 items that intrigued me were Christmas items, one downstairs, one upstairs. I gave him the untagged ornament and he was friendly enough and said he would get me a price **half the ornaments in the bowl were not priced. The priced ornamenta were between $6 & $12. So I make my way upstairs, in the large room I find a gumball machine with a Christmas scene inside the globe....no tag. I walk it downstairs to find Jeff for a price and he gave me "a look" and said he knows it was priced because he took it up there yesterday...walks away in a "huff", rather angry manner. He gave me the feeling that he had just accused me of taking the price off. I did NOT! I literally frequent the place quite often and he knows me.....why would I do that. At the register he gave me the price of the gumball machine. Honestly...I wouldn't have bought it for any price at this point. I often go to Downtown Rosenberg for a couple hours when I need a break **I live 5 miles away**. I'm not sure when/if I'll return to Red Queen's Attic and I certainly will never recommend the shop to another person **which I've done so many times in the past** Thrifting/Antiquing is a "break" for me....something I love doing,. Some items, I felt in comparison to other local shops, like Jay & Barbs and Calla Lilies Antiques, were higher on price points. You'd barely know their separate vendors as it appears as a seamless space with a continuous collection of treasures when you walk in. The layout makes it's very easy and comfortable to browse. You can find adorable vintage clothing, hats, wraps, gowns, shoes and jewelry. Glassware, china, silver, furniture, terrific vintage signs, vintage comics, toys, books, lamps and much more are located throughout this adorable shop.
