I went here on Memorial Day weekend 2022 and I want to thank the folks (guides) for a wonderful day on Eagle. A beautiful and relaxing 1 hour + ride through the canyons and rock formations. Anybody can do this easy ride - even kids and people who've never been on a horse. This time of year, I liked how they get started at 7:30 or 7:45 as it's not very hot yet. It would get to near 100F later in the day but the temp at 7:30 was only 70 something. Some of the horses are wearing masks and eye protection too - I like that. My daughter and I were in town visiting West Texas A&M "go Buffs"! And wanted to take in the canyon... First the people working there were super accommodating and held the ride for us a few minutes as it was not too busy that day and we were scrambling to get there. Amazing vistas; not too much talking but nice quiet to let you soak it all in. Our guide answered questions and pointed out a few things... but mostly let us just be and be with nature! This is a very well run, organized and staffed business. We had a great trail ride with a very kind and informative guide into the Palo Duro Canyon. It's worth going into the State Park to get to Old West Stables for some amazing views and trails. read more

Relaxing horseback ride. Fun for kids & adults. That one hour goes by so fast. The only hiccup is that the horses were brought back so quickly after the ride that there wasn't any time for pictures. I had to ask for a picture with the horses & kids. read more

This was one of the coolest things I have ever done. It is in the base of the canyon which takes you to the most scenic parts of the canyon. The horses were all gentle and easily maneuvered. The staff was knowledgeable about the plants and wild life in the canyon along with the canyons formation. Would be my top recommendation to do in the canyon. read more

Great family outing! If you have younger children and want a peaceful ride this is definitely great they were very nice and reasonably priced. The hour flew by. The horses looked well kept and happy which is GREAT to see! The canyon is beautiful. The only downfall for our group was that you won't go down or up any big hills or through water, but like I said if you're not as adventurous or you have children this is a great place to go! We had Megan and Blaine as our tour guides and they were just amazing!! (And not one person was asked to weigh themselves like I saw in another review) read more

A fun hour long loop through parts of the canyon. Some scenic views but nothing that you wouldn't get hiking through the park (and none of the tremendous views you get while hiking). A fun way to see parts of the canyon that are fairly empty. Safety of the ride was good but the log jam in the pen wasn't the safest of situations. The professionalism of the staff, calm demeanor of the horses, and views make this trip worth while. read more
