I've eaten a ton of pizza in my lifetime. Without a doubt, the best pizza you can find on the Outer Banks. Great food and great service!

Wife had ice cream here and it was the best she ever had. We went back as many nights as we could while on vacation.

Friendly and helpful staff, heavenly ice cream, and as advertised--the best burgers in the area. Loved it.

Me and my dad were stopping in Washington, NC, to grab a hot dog before arriving at Goose Creek State Park to camp over the weekend. We heard about Bill's Hot Dog Stand on North Carolina Weekend PBS, but that was 100% outdated. This place just down right sucks. Walking in there was a line in the small establishment shaped like a horseshoe, so we believed it to be good. People were also ordering about 20 of them. How? I don't know. The 3 women behind the counter were rude. 1 was going painfully slow at taking hot dogs out of the boiler, the 2nd had an attitude about putting some chili (slop), mustard, and onions on a hot dog, and the 3rd practically was yelling in everyone's face at the register. When it was finally our turn, my dad ordered a hot dog with chili and mustard, and the individual said "So no onions?" Lady, they're the same thing. The chili was discolored (brown) and was practically paste. I don't know how you call that chili. When we ate our hot dogs, they were just downright gross. They both had a weird taste, and the chili was overly spicy and just gross tasting. The tea was so overpoweringly sweet (and I like SWEET tea), and customer service was just horrible. Do not come here. Just don't do it. Want a GOOD hot dog? Head to Hap's in Salisbury.

Staff are all friendly and the line went by pretty quick (less than 15 minutes) for a pretty popular place. Parking lots space is limited but there's plenty of street parking. So first time was the ice cream sandwich. $8.50 for a very thin ice cream sandwich. I had the original, cookies were good. Ice cream was crystallized and seemed to be closer to sorbet or milk ice than it was to ice cream. Ice cream is not supposed to crunch. Second was the soft serve shop. Shop was nice. That staff were ok. They were more concerned with discussing how to handle HR issues than explaining how your expected to buy your ice cream. It's sold by the ounce. It's self serve. I got the two " gelato" flavors, sweet cream and chocolate fudge popsicle. I got about a half a cup with no toppings...$9. Maybe 6 fluid ounces. They charge $ .70 an ounce by weight I guess? If it was amazing, no problem. The issue is that it wasn't amazing. It WASN'T and ISN'T gelato they are selling!!! What makes gelato.... Gelato??? Well different from ice cream or custard it's the texture and fat content and presence of eggs. Gelato should be very dense and silky smooth. What they are selling as gelato is very likely just a very cheap low fat ice cream or maybe some combination of low fat ice cream and yogurt. It was worse than the cheap soft serve ice cream that Chinese buffets offer. I will not shop here again. I recommend you don't either. It baffles me they have the reviews they have but businesses can buy reviews now so maybe that's it. Instead I recommend strongly American pie ice cream ( or pizza was good too ), kill devils custard and fries OR and I'm including it last because it's expensive and they are cheap with serving sizes for the price but Scoops is good quality ice cream. I don't like leaving bad reviews but I wish I knew before loosing nearly $20 on terrible ice cream.
