Such a cute area! Old town Tustin is not flashy or anything. It seems like this area is older and it has a more rustic feel. Old Town Tustin isn't very big. I was surprised at how small it is actually. You can drive from one end to the other end rarely easily lol I did not have time to check out the museum here. I would like to do that next time I visit. Museums are fun and learning about the history of the city of Tustin might be fun. There's lots of walkable restaurants and shops. The only thing I didn't like about Old Town Tustin was the parking situation. It's hard to find parking anywhere. I drove around and around. When a spot opened, like everyone was fighting over it lol I did find some parking, further out and had to walk a bit. read more

There are many shops and beautiful spots to relax and take photos. The food is diverse, delicious, and reasonably priced. I really liked this place and recommend it. Parking is also very cheap. read more

Old Town Tustin is a great area to explore on foot, with plenty to see and do. There's a small community garden with benches, featuring herbs and fruits like strawberries in raised beds. A pair of scissors was placed by the beds, likely for the community to use. The area also has a designated space for the Certified Farmers Market, which takes place on Wednesdays from 9 AM to 11 PM. Walking along Main Street, I came across interesting stores and restaurants, including the Swinging Saloon Door and the Old Town Tustin Museum. The most fascinating find was Cox Market, which felt like a hidden gem tucked behind some buildings. It had the charm of a museum exhibit, showcasing the area's history with a historic irrigation system, old medicine boxes, and even a secure vault. I highly recommend taking a stroll through this area--you never know what you might discover. read more

Want a change of scenery than the typical concrete business strip malls? Experience Old Town Tustin. A couple miles in size, well maintained and you're almost transported to a different time. Nostalgic exterior is brick and plaster with a modern twist on the inside. Some of these businesses are family owned around for decades and others are new occupants. Stroll the streets, stop by the bookstore (formerly a furniture and hardware store), 5 coffee/tea joints to choose from, try on some outfits, shop some antiques, get a haircut, peruse some plant babies at the nursery, or feed your tastebuds at Cream Pan, Honda-Ya, Rutabegorz, Roma D'Italia, or FreeSoulCaffe. Even the surrounding almost Victorian houses are gorgeous...straight out of a movie. Free parking on the corner of Main and Prospect or behind Rutabegorz or just street parking. read more

I love Old Town Tustin. It's small, but there's lots to see and do. Start off with the Tustin area museum. Wednesday there's a farmers market. You can attend the yearly chili cookoff. Jamestown Plaza has a cool little church. Ivy Bridge, and Honda Ya are good places to eat. Also try The Black Marlin located in the old Tustin Garage. There are many other restaurants in Old Town Tustin including a really good Vegan restaurant. My all time favorite place is Roma D Itilia, their food is amazing. If you like coffee, there are a couple small mom and pop coffee shops. read more

I love places that preserve buildings. Old Town Tustin has a lot of historic buildings and architecture; obviously, the buildings are now fitted with modern shops and restaurants. The exteriors look wonderful though! On El Camino Real, there's also an old tractor-like piece of equipment; there's a plaque next to it with the history. I love the preserved homes as well. Many are in wonderful condition and have been lovingly restored. Another thing I noticed yesterday that I've overlooked -- the old trees! Wow! They have been here forever. There are some streets that do not have sidewalks since trees are growing where the sidewalks should be. (I'm so happy they did not disrupt the trees!) 2022: 87/100 read more

If you like historic landmarks and buildings, Old Town Tustin is interesting. The bookstore building is fun to look at, when you lookup you can see it was a hardware store originally, with red paint on an ornate part at the top part of the building. It was Monday, the bookstore was closed so we could not explore. The places that were open, such as Morning Lavender, a boutique with beautiful clothes and a cafe, did not disappoint and staff was nice enough. Every time we walk to the museum it's closed. Tip: Mondays most of the shops and restaurants are closed. read more

Love this quaint Tustin town. There's so much history in store here. If you go and check out the Tustin Area Historical Society museum, you will learn the history of how Tustin came to be and the growth of the city from orange groves to industrial buildings. Quiet quaint little town. Nice to see that old architecture and the historical buildings are preserved. Free parking is found along the streets and blocks surrounding the "main" area to walk around. There's a few businesses, restaurants, and a garden center. Seems like they have events throughout the summer like concerts and celebrations. I love Old Town Tustin! It has a pretty dynamic mix, consisting of not just old, but also hip and modern businesses.These include an antique shop, a neat kombuca and tea room, an Armstrong garden center, to the cool Japanese spot Honda-Ya, a huge Italian restaurant, modern clothing and home boutiques, a new contemporary burger and beer spot, a variety of bar and grills, while on the other spectrum a chill saloon, a relaxing pizza and wine bar, yoga and MMA studios, hair and nail shops, etc. etc. Let's not forget that this is home to the one and only Cream Pan. Plus, right on the outskirts are some other well known stops such as 7 Leaves Cafe, Kean Coffee, Creamistry, Gen KBBQ and more. There's so much to this little area filled with so many cool shops are eateries. But while you're there, make sure to take a stroll through these streets and get some of that old hometown feel. Don't forget to keep your head up and keep your eye out for that clock tower building to get a bit of Back to the Future nostalgia. read more

Such a super cute neighborhood in the city of Tustin. I went with my local friend who showed a friend and I around and we ate delicious pastas at the Centro Storico Spaghetteria, and we then went to Arvida Book Co. (the cute used and new bookshop/cafe with an interior rivaling the Last Bookstore in LA - it is smaller, but has couches and reading areas, a cozy and vintage warmth, a children's book section decorated as a jungle, with a little reading nook with blankets and pillows and a small door near the floor, and an outside area with tables and plants where book clubs and art clubs meet), and Morning Lavender (the dainty clothing and accessories/stationery boutique / milk tea/coffee cafe, which also has an outdoor patio for hosting baby showers and bridal showers). I then took my grandma and she loved walking around the beautiful tree-lined streets and the cool shade during the hot summer weather, and visiting and window shopping these spots. Overall, it is a very cute area with many clothing and grocery stores, cafes, books, and restaurants to visit and stroll around. read more

Super hard to comment on an area that is closed up on Monday's. What is the point of owing a retail store in this area if you are not open. Probably won't come back out of 4 stores that I tried to ship in, 3 were closed. read more
