I just wouldn't recommend going if you're in a hurry or have a deadline for leaving. This is a good place to sit down and relax for a while. Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Good food. Portions for the price range might be a bit hard to swallow for some, but it makes up for that if you know what to order. You can substitute sweet potato fries, and I would recommend doing that. Overall , I would recommend this for hanging out or whatever with loved ones.

We heard good things about Luna, but I believe they were talking about a different location. Sadly,…read morethis is the only location open on Sunday for dinner, not to mention the only restaurant open at all on Sunday night. As an only resort, we visited Luna for dinner. The inside is beautiful, the dining areas and bar looked immaculate, the staff were friendly and attentive, so we assumed we would have an excellent meal. After getting our shrimp and artichoke dip appetizer, we realized the tortilla chips were stale and proceeded to eat the dip with just our forks. We shared a fried chicken breast main dish and a side Caesar salad. The salad croutons were picked off because we noticed those were also stale and chewy - this made the salad edible at least. Our chicken came out and we both immediately noticed it tasted funny, like a soapy dish water marinade. The breading was edible but sadly we couldn't make a meal out of it. So we left hungry and added this location to our list of places never to visit again when we are in the area. I don't know what this location is doing that can't be replicated from the other more popular location, but having the advantage of being one of the few restaurants open on Sunday, I would suggest management fix whatever is happening in the kitchen so they might succeed long term.

My bf and I arrived around 9pm, ordered ourselves a burger each because we were STARVING!! We are pretty patient people, so we waited and waited. 30mins go by and still nothing, the guy that ordered after us got his food. We asked and she said she'll check on it. A moment later, maybe 9:40pm or 9:50pm ish, the same girl that took our order said they were short staffed and it will take a bit longer and apologized. It's about 10pm ish now and the manager comes and apologize and explained the situation. The girl that took our order forgot to send the dam ticket to the kitchen this whole time... apparently she's in "training". Manager was very apologetic and told us our options for a refund or a reimbursement through drinks... Ma'am I'm trying to chow down a hefty burger not liquor. Shoutout to Bisou Lounge/Lux Plates & Pours for having their kitchen open late. My bf and I are just nice people and it sucks because we could've crashed out and caused a scene. I think that would be a normal reaction though because you got customers waiting a mf hour just to say y'all can't make the food anymore because the kitchen is closed and now you gotta give them their money back. If I was the cashier, I would've just went back there and whipped up a burger because it was my fault. Other than that, place seems like a cool chill bar, and they have nice staff:)

I really enjoy hanging out at the M Bar and I visit 2 - 3 times per week while working in the Lake…read moreCharles area. It's a small locally owned and operated bar and grill catering to the locals, but out-of-towners such as myself are always welcome. I visit during happy hours (4:00PM - 8:00PM) and take advantage of the $2.00 bottle beers (12 oz) and the 1/2 priced burgers on Tuesday's and the .75 wings on Wednesday's. On these days and times, the bar in not crowded and it gives me an opportunity to relax and un wine after a long day in the office sitting behind a desk. On occasions, I visit on a Thursday when there is a live DJ, but this place can get very busy as Thursdays seems to cater to the younger crowd. I always feel safe at this spot, and I never worry about trouble or the crowd getting out rowdy of control. The service is on the slower side, but the customer service is awesome due to only having one POS. I highly recommend they install another one to speed up the service. Now the food. I've had the opportunity to taste the wings, the M burger with fries, and the Firecracker shrimp. Everything is cooked to order, well-seasoned, and delicious. The M Burger comes with a custom blend perfectly seasoned patty that covers the entire bun, M bar sauce, white cheddar, lettuce, tomatoes, and purple onions, and served with hot Cajun seasoned fries. SO GOOD, I order one every Tuesday. After all, where else can I get a good made to order burger and fries for $6.10 plus tax. The wings come in a variety of flavors. They are perfectly cooked to order and no matter what sauce you put on them, they are delicious. They are however, on the small side, but I can't complain, they are very good and at .75 per wing on Wednesday's, you cannot go wrong when paired with $2.00 Bud Light. The Firecracker Shrimp I love me some shrimp and these are to die for. A little pricy for 6 shrimps, but the shrimps are large, lightly battered and fried to perfection, and served with the M Bar's spicy sauce. I believe in supporting small minority owned businesses. Providing them with the opportunity to grow by spending my dollars with them means a lot. But if you're looking for a quite little place to hang out without the large crowds, give the M Bar a try. They even have a nice patio area to hang out on.
