They are super nice. Bob the owner was amazing, and his staff just as nice. They didn't even try to sell us anything, just answer our questions, looked at a ring and gave us a free estimate on the valve. Fixed some diamond earring for us and only charge for a piece that was missing. We really enjoyed talking to Bob and Andy. The store was in a very interesting place, you never except it to be there. But, they had a number of customers in there, but they have a lot of staff. Highly recommend them. You can tell they know their stuff. read more

Amazing!! Came in close to closing but nobody seemed to mind! Brought in some jewelry and they cleaned and fixed them so nicely! They even fixed a small pill holder I had!:) welcoming atmosphere! Felt like I was hanging out with my aunties and uncles read more

Okay selection but prices and valuations on things youre trying to pawn or sell is almost insulting.

I went in close to closing but that did not matter to them. Amazing and helpful staff! I will definitely be going back!

Surprising little gem. We found everything we needed. Will go back (and I don't like shopping).

I had a great experience having a sterling silver cuff repaired. Dealt with Bob. Fair price, good communication and excellent work!! read more

The folks at Old Town jewelry are the very best. We brought them a necklace to repair and they were able to help us immediately. They brought us bottles of water while waiting and helped me use peruse through their cases of beautiful jewelry. They were great people, a special mention and appreciation nod to Jeff, Andy and Angela. Please check this place out for jewelry repair, Watch repair and jewelry shopping. A wonderful group of folks. read more

Outstanding customer service. We asked in old town if they could recommend a jewelry repair service for our Native American jewelry and we were told Bob at Old town jewelry and we could not be happier that they did. Fast and friendly service, we went in and found that he was really busy but his staffed stepped in and were extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I have several pieces of jewely I will be taking back there on my next visit to Albuquerque. read more

Such a wonderful place! have gotten here multiple times now for watch repairs and they are so helpful and friendly

We were referred to OTJ to get a ring resized. Wow! Bob and his team took such good care of us. Not only was the ring resized - super quick and well done - but each of us (three in our party) left with several more treasures - including a custom ring in a size 20! The team is knowledgeable, prices are beyond fair, and the quality is unbelievable. On our next trip to Albuquerque, OTJ will be our first stop for turquoise jewelry! read more

I love this place! They are hands down the nicest pawn/jewelry shop in town. They will save your items for over a year and never pressure you ever. I've also purchased diamond earrings and necklaces here and the quality is quite impressive. They know about the jewelry they carry very well. They also have selections of guns as well. I have a purple 9mm we purchased and it was in perfect condition. If you need to pawn or just purchase something this is the most honest place I've been to in Albuquerque. read more

This is by far the best service that I have ever received from texas to Arizona when it comes to watch repair! Very nice staff! Excellent results after 3 watches brought to them! Too bad they are closing down after 40 years I presume. read more

You really ought pay them a visit before buying any big name store. They sell diamond rings, turquoise, and more. I made a mistake of ordering online from a popular jewelry store. Never again. read more

This location has been around forever on old Route 66. Right across the street from Historic Old Town Albuquerque. Sometimes good buys on jewelry. Always try to bargain. read more

Best pawn/loan in town! Valley Pawn is bigger, but the staff always seem overwhelmed, and stressed out. Here at Old Town Pawn, it is smaller, but also more personal. The staff here are very welcoming and friendly. read more

In response to William B, the policy is only about firearms. The owners, in light of the recent shootings in this country, have chosen to restrict gun sales to individuals 25 and older. I applaud this policy. Knowing the owners and this business for years now, I can attest to their generosity and excellent business practices. There is no prejudice or discrimination. They welcome all and are open to discussion with anyone who has complaint. read more

THE best place in town for old pawn and amazing jewelry by First Nations artists. New or vintage, they probably have what you want -- even if you didn't know what you were looking for when you walked in. The entire staff is SUPER friendly and incredible helpful. They're located right across the street from Old Town (go ahead, go looking at Old Town, but walk across the street when you're ready to buy and be glad that you did) and they have free parking. read more

I haven't been in there for ever! Miss this place the owner and the staff are amazing. You never feel like your ripped off. They treat everyone that goes through that door like family. read more

They are prejudice and have policies to discriminate here. Have a policy where people under 25 cannot buy certain merchandise. Blatant ageism. Negative stereotyping. I'm not under 25 but the policy is nonsense. The workers were nice, but I'd advise shopping somewhere else where they don't discriminate against people of the general public. That's not ok and I don't know what kind of other nonsense prejudice and dis they hold. Update: the owner feels entitled to their discrimination and stereotypes. Next they will say they limit based on religion or race due to any recent events that might happen? It's discrimination, period. read more

Looking for Southwest local Native American jewelry other than tourists shops in Old Town. Saw shop and crossed VERY busy Central Avenue close to closing time. Super helpful staff..selection was amazing. Staff very knowledgeable. Bought 5 distinct pieces including some signed originals. Better selection than Old Town. AND great prices. We'll be back on next visit. read more

This is without a doubt, the best jewelry store in Albuquerque if you are looking for vintage rings, cuffs, etc. The staff here is a group of the friendliest, and most in-the-know people I have met in New Mexico. The prices are, by far, the lowest for their jewelry! If you are seriously considering buying any jewelry in Albuquerque, do NOT skip this store!! read more

Second time back to Old Town Jewelry bought a one Native ring and put one item on layaway. The staff was fantastic and knowledgeable. The owner was incredible with a nice smile on his face happy to answer any questions. I would highly recommend this jewelry store to anyone looking for Native American jewelry or anything else. If I could give them 10 stars I would. read more

If you want to be cheated and lied to, this is the place to go. This place ruined my $150 watch and then flat out refused to accept responsibility. They stripped the screws so badly that no one else will work on it. When I confronted them, they simply denied it. The entire staff was defensive and immediately began denying any wrongdoing and trying to blame others, including me. It seemed so natural, like they'd done this before. ALSO, while I was there a woman came in to complain that they'd had her watch in for repair for THREE MONTHS and no one ever called her. The sign on the outside says "1 Day Repair." I'd laugh at the ridiculousness of this if they hadn't just totally destroyed my watch. read more

Best experience in Albuquerque! The owner and staff are above amazing. We felt like we had been coming here for years and it was our first visit. The jewelry is great and they are very knowledgeable about it all. Great deals on beautiful pieces of jewelry. Very honest about their jewelry. My mom had several old pieces that needed repair and for a very reasonable price they fixed her right up. The lay a way plan is very helping. Will travel from Texas to buy jewelry here again. read more

My family had dealt with this shop for many years. They are quite friendly and knowlegeable about all their merchandise and services. We would not consider going elsewhere for our purchases and repair. read more

We were visiting Albuquerque, and planned to shop for native crafts. We brought along a Zuni bracelet purchased elsewhere, hoping to find a way to prevent it from falling off a small wrist. For $16, their skilled jeweler, referred by a local merchant, attached a small chain, using a cold-laser method, and saved the day. Everyone in the shop was warm and helpful, and would not let us leave until we were completely satisfied. They told us that they frequently receive requests to repair Native jewelry, from folks who live out of town, and who mail their items, insured, by USPS, for a nominal cost. The repaired jewelry is returned by the same method. We learned that local jewelers, familiar with Indian craftsmanship methods are more skilled than those who do not commonly repair this type of jewelry. it would have been very easy for this shop to charge us a much higher fee, but they were down-to-earth and honest. They already have the trust of local jewelry merchants; now they have the trust of strangers as well. read more
