Granada was our last stop during a 3-week backpacking trip. At this point, we had slready experienced several hostels from large international chains to small local hostels... Old Town Hostel in Granada was probably our favorite one from this trip. It had a lot going for it.
First of all, it has a really good location. It was a few minutes walk from where airport shuttle dropped us, and center of town. It is located on a cute, narrow street. Lots of shops and some restaurants within a walking distance.
The hostel staff were really friendly, and gave us good tips for our visit in Granada. The lady at the check-in ( might have been the owner) marked a local map with lots of useful information for our stay. They offered a breakfast but we did not get to wake up early enough to have breakfast.
The hostel itself was small and clean. It is nice to stay somewhere that did not get crowded. The two roommates we had were both really nice. The hostel did not ever get loud. It was like staying at a good friend's house for a few days. read more
