Old Town Cottage is a holiday rental cottage in Old Town, on St Mary's, the main island of the Isles of Scilly. It has a wonderful location just yards from the beach at Old Town Harbour. The Old Town Cafe (daytime snacks and drinks) and Old Town Inn (good for evening meals and Sunday lunches) are also close by. High Town, for the harbour and shops, it a 15 minute walk. It sleeps two, with a comfortable bedroom upstairs with an en-suite bathroom with a toilet, basin and electric shower; the single room downstairs has a kitchen area with full size overnight and hob, a fridge, and microwave. There's a small dining table and chairs, and a lounge area with two-seater sofa and television. The layout works very well and the fittings are of a good standard. It's all tastefully decorated in muted beiges and blues, and well stocked with reading material about the islands. Perfect for a quiet, relaxing getaway. read more
