It's chaotic in all the best ways. This is the best place to buy books and activity books/kits for kids. Ollie's is usually my first stop for kids' birthday gifts or if I need to take wrapped single-serve snacks to a kid function. They also usually have plenty of seasonal items, whether it's decor, stuff for yard work, xmas toys, etc. tons of household items-small kitchen appliances, hygiene items (I go here for hygiene item drives that happen from time to time), rings, home improvement items and tools...it's really just a catch-all for random stuff. I buy pet food here often. It's just an easy place to get stuff at a really great price. I love deals and discounts, so I frequent here a few times each month.

Went in to look And remembered they used to offer a birthday discount on one item. My birthday was last week. I went up to the The lady working the desk( curly brown hair) she did not even great me and stared at me blankly she was EXTREMELY rude and snarky when I asked about the discount. She was very bitter and said people only come in once a year to get their discount and never comeback so they reduced the discount- person needs to be present and show a valid ID. I responded that's fine my birthday was last week and she seemed annoyed by me saying this. I was still going to purchase the item and possibly some sunglasses. But she acted like it was a chore to look up the price. I told her never mind. I didn't want to give my money to a business that does not care about politeness or customer service. The prices can be high but they have frequent sales like 75% off Christmas, 25% off clearance when I visited. They also have a rewards program and they honor coupons from their website too. I was excited to see this location had pajamas, jewlery, and a book themed decor section too! Everything was well stocked and the employee that checked me out was friendly and helpful.
