Jesse and his team had to drill through fiber glass and three layers of ply wood. The job ended up taking four hours longer than anticipated and Jesse still honored to original guesstimated price, although no promises were made and he didn't have to do that. Jonny Prius & EV Repair- Negligence Cost Me an Engine…read moreRating: I am writing this to warn others--especially women--about the costly negligence I experienced at this shop. My car was towed here in November for overheating. I paid $565 for what I was told were the necessary repairs. However, the car overheated again almost immediately because the original problem was never actually fixed. Upon inspection, it appeared the thermostat had never been replaced. Because the shop failed to perform the initial repair correctly, my engine was severely damaged and completely failed, requiring a full engine replacement that cost thousands of dollars. When I went back, the owner tried to quote me $5,000 for a new engine to fix the damage his own negligence caused. I filed a formal complaint with the Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR). Following their investigation, the owner was forced to refund my $565 because he could not produce a single receipt or proof of what work he had supposedly done the first time. I ended up taking my car elsewhere to have the engine replaced. Do not take your vehicle here. Their lack of transparency and failure to perform basic repairs resulted in major mechanical failure for my car.

I met with the owner and received a fair and competitive estimate compared to some other companies that clearly wanted to overcharge me. The installation crew did an excellent job and were personable to deal with. The new outside AC condenser initially had a glitch to workout as it seemed loud at shut off. They sent a technician out to help resolve it promptly. It has been working flawlessly ever since. I came away with a very positive experience and wouldn't hesitate to use them again. So, if you are an electrician for this company make sure you invoice for about $500/hr! And their HVAC guys, I think its awesome your boss pays you $500/hr. But clients beware, there is a lot of gouging going on. Usually its $150/hr for the technical. And call the suppliers, you'll see the cost of the HVAC equipment is much less than you are being quoted! And other than duct work, its an easy day or two for an install. So do the math, and don't let our community be the place where we pay $ 500/hr for electricians.
