It's a smaller farm than nearby Johnson's Corner farm, and they don't grow any food to my knowledge, so it's much less crowded and chaotic, plus cheaper. You can't pick your own berries or apples or anything, but the hayride out to the "pumpkin patch" is fun to do in the fall, and there is enough to do besides pumpkin picking to stretch it into a full afternoon of inexpensive family friendly fun. They have a playground, goats and alpacas, a small maze, plus plenty of food and live music on the weekends. My girlfriend, 11-year-old son and I recently tried their winter wonderland illuminated walking trail which they just started up in 2022. For the three of us, after taxes and fees, it was $57.90. It was a very pleasant night strolling the 1/4 mile trail filled with lights and christmas music, plus the several campfires set up at the end of the trail.

Once you find your tree, you bring your tag to the register and pay. The farmers then go cut your tree and load it on your car while you sit fireside and enjoy complementary cookies and hot chocolate. The staff was very nice and I was able to get a tree garbage bag to put over the tree to minimize the fall out spreading across the house when we toss it. Not only did he and his crew help me push the car to the side of the road but he drove me and my son back to our house to get my jumper pack. On a busy Saturday, this guy very selflessly stopped what he was doing and helped us. He took what was a very stressful situation and immediately did all he could to help. What a tremendous gesture and one that won't be forgotten. My son got to see what real, genuine humanity looks like. It is the gold standard, IMHO, as someone who has worked at farms and greenhouses over the course of decades, these are the people from whom I have sought counsel the most when. In New Jersey. Their plants are beautiful and healthy, and suited to local conditions because they are greenhosed on site by an expert horticulturist. The 'book learning' aspect of the son, Alan, is beautifully balanced by the depth and breadth of knowledge from Don himself, a local farmers with hands on experience and an ear to the ground, full of local lore. Excellent customer service to boot. If you're looking for substance and quality and knowledge, look no further! An extraordinary enterprise much appreciated by us dedicated fans.

Hate doing this, Zero stars on Quality and Service. Have been going to this place for backyard and…read moregardening needs for a while now, primarily because of prices, not because of selection. Purchased a large number of items for a backyard project, spent close to 2k. Almost every tree died or dying!!!! Tried everything, soil testing, ran auto watering hoses, tried the apps and the forums. Went back to country view, explained the situation wasn't even asking for a refund. Immediately they all started singing like birds in the trees, NOT OUR FAULT, CANT DO NOTHING, we had a drought, we don't know this and we don't know that, bla bla bla bla. At some point one of the employees asked what would I like them to do, my reply was I don't know, what are the options, what do you offer in cases like this, you are the ones running this business. Kept the receipts and pictures for proof. Not going to post them, just an experience. Don't care about it one way or another. The ending, they didn't even offer to come over and take a look and see what happened or why. Dug out all of the dead and dying trees, went around the corner to a lovely nursery place and purchased all new trees and shrubs. Save your money, time and sanity!!! Make wiser choices, learn from my experience!!! Hope this helps!!!
