Calamari was prompt to answer email, courteous on the phone, and stellar in person! Tow driver got a huge flatbed into my small slanted driveway with no problem. He then used a serious of tricks like letting air out of tires on one side to get my large heavy van smoothly and safely into the lift. He was personable and courteous and didn't laugh when I cried a little saying goodbye to my old pal. Down at the office they had cash available to me within the hour and all the proper paperwork to show the tax office. Additionally more money than I expected!

I was extremely shaken up and pulled over to the side of the highway. When I arrived home I immediately call the company to report the incident. The end result is that All American Waste will take no responsibility for the damage to my car even though they broke CT law by not clearing the snow and ice off their truck. Needless to say, I would never choose All American Waste as my refuse company and perhaps you should not either.

So much so, that my young boys have even befriended their favorite Garbage man (Roy), who never forgets to wave to my sons and make their little hearts day every time he picks up our trash. Not once in my 5 years since moving to the area and receiving trash pick up from Sterling Superior have I ever experiences any rudeness in ANY manner or any miscommunications/ missed trash day pick-ups. This company has always been extremely professional, consistently reliable, and quick-to-service with total poise and friendliness! The reason for my review today was due to my completely felt satisfaction upon Sterling's picking up of my family's trash today and my family's shown happiness, as well as our garbage's clean and quick removal per usual, prompted myself to go onto Yelp and finally provide a review that this company deserves after years of loyal service to my household. However, I was in total shock towards these negative and absolutely MISREPRESENTING reviews on here....... During the winter of 2020-2021, two snow storms left no room to put out the trash buckets. By March 2021, use of the service by this household had dwindling. My son effectively stopped using it by April. We received the last bill from USA H & R in mid-2021. I received a few emails, perhaps once every 3rd or 4th months. I informed them in my answers that my son had stopped putting out the trash buckets. I never put them out. My like experience is that when a company stops billing, said company has effectively broken the contract with the customer. The last email from the company requested the return of their trash buckets. I responded that they were in the yard and they may come to pick them up. That was at least three months ago. I received a letter from what appears to be a nation-wide collection service for an amount that is three times what the last bill was. I explained to BOTH USAH&R and the collection service that I had not been billed since mid-2021 and that USAH&R effectively broke its contract with this household and that this household stopped using the service months before the last bill. Their crew does no work here because no trash is put out. The company is not inconvenienced by our lack of participation as the neighbors on either side of us. Why, after more than a year and a half, USAH&R suddenly needs money for a service it does not provide is simply a swindle.
