I brought my kids here one evening when we couldn't get into Pizza Hut next door. I honestly wish I'd taken them to a petrol station and bought them crisps and chocolate instead.
We got a nice table in a corner booth as the place was empty, despite a funfair right outside and queues of people waiting for Pizza Hut. That promising start was the high point however, as the service was the worst I have ever experienced with the kids, the food was stunningly poor and the prices were plenty high. All the things you don't want.
The kids meals were cheap to the point of being silly - school dinners would have been better. My wife had a steak (yeah right) and I had surf 'n' turf. I would actually have preferred some grass soaked in a salty ocean wave, as the surf 'n' turf I received was a joke: a thin piece of overcooked sirloin with some frozen prawns on the side - £18 IIRC.
The place was empty as I say, but they seated the other two families who came in after us right behind us, presumably to make it easier to keep track of service. It didn't work. 40 minutes after finishing my meal, and having asked for the bill three times from the same superstressed girl (the place was still fairly empty), I eventually walked to the kitchen door, waited for her to come out and took her to the nearby till so I could pay and get out of there.
