Proprietor has a really short temper. He made a deal with a customer that hired one of his…read moreemployees to teach a group how to play a game; it was explicitly agreed-upon to pay $15 times three hours. When it was time to pay, the owner increased the price by $5.75. The customer complained and said that wasn't the deal. The proprietor then lost his temper and literally yelled at the table where the game was being played, "Everyone pack up the game and get out!" On top of having to pay for the girl who was teaching the group how to play, she was excellent by the way and probably should go look for a job elsewhere, each player also payed a $10 fee to sit at his table and purchased junk food, drinks. He may have had a bad day or was just an ill tempered man. However, no proprietor should ever treat his customers this way. First time I've witnessed such behaviour.

There's also one at Northgate Mall. I decided to check this store out. The St. Vital Centre store had a lot of printed images of shoplifters, which dampened my shopping experience. This store doesn't have that vibe. However, there was a sign saying that you are on camera. My guess is that the merchandise is decently priced and cute that it appeals to shoplifters. This store had a lot of cute items. There were a ton of plushies in the back. The baby Winnie the Pooh and Disney plushies were adorable. You can also get fluffy slippers. I saw alligator (or were they crocodile?) ones that were sweet and not intimidating. I like looking at utensil and bento kits. The former seems to stick with the knife-spoon-fork combination. I'd like one with all of them and chopsticks, all in a nice case. I still haven't seen it. I will say that if you are looking for a tote bag, you can find a ton of them here. BT21. Hello Kitty and Friends. Peanuts. I was happy. I got a pink Snoopy tote with him as an astronaut. It had lavender handles. Perfect! I went up to the counter to pay. The female staffer was so sweet and a pleasure to talk to. I paid with a credit card. I tapped and was good. She asked if I needed a bag. I had one already from Hot Topic and placed my tote bag in it. I thanked her and left. I used my tote on my trip. It was comfortable over my shoulder and stored my items nicely. I liked visiting this store. I'll be back for more when I'm at this mall. (238)

I found a lone pair of sandals that I liked, but they were only in a size 8. I like cargo pants. It's likely because I like pockets. I'd rather have more than none. This store had many styles, from wide-leg to chino pants. My favourite section was the clearance section at the back. I spotted a cute t-shirt with little watermelon slices at the front of the store. It was the only one, but not in my size. I found the same t-shirt in the clearance section in my size for $5. One word: mine! Canada Day had just past. Sweaters and other articles from this holiday were also at reduced prices. It was so hot in Winnipeg that the thought of trying on a sweater made me instantly sweat. I headed to the checkout area. I got a female staffer who was cheerful and pleasant. I entered my phone number associated with GAP rewards. I had a bit of a discount, but decided to let it blossom some more. I paid for my dirt-cheap t-shirt with a debit card. Done! She gave me a paper bag with handles, which I used for my entire shopping time at this outlet mall. I thanked her and left. I have a small fruit-themed t-shirt collection. I got a cherries one from a GAP outlet in Ajax over a year ago. This watermelon t-shirt now keeps my cherries one company. I love it. it's soft and fits nicely. It's a decent Old Navy outlet with great prices. I was thrilled with my purchase. I'd return again when I'm back in the city. (292)
