Always a great experience in this store. It's organized, clean and the store associates are very friendly and helpful. Today I couldn't figure out how to use the seat in a cart. My toddler was being wild. I started talking with an associate and a few minutes later she came over to me with a cart and put the seat down for me. She went above and beyond! I went in dreading looking for jeans that would work, had the absolute best customer service and help from a young lady named janya and her manager Jen were AMAZING! What I anticipated to be a crappy jean buying experience turned into a very fruitful and happy one. The Old Navy in Wilmington, NC has the worst customer service. This is not the first time I've seen this same issue at this location. Five workers were at the registers but, only one was ringing up customer. The other four were at one register doing something other than assisting customers. One of them asked if I was there to pick up an order and when I told him no he continued on with the three workers doing something on the one register. This store definitely needs to get their priorities in order and worry about the customers in the store that are waiting to make a purchase versus using four employees to do something at one register. I'm sure whatever they were doing could have waited while they tended to their loyal customers that were waiting in line. I really hope someone from that store sees this review and makes an attempt to do better. And to the one worker that was assisting the customers, THANK YOU!!! read more

I haven't shopped at old navy in years but today I decided to go and the sales were so good. I found tons of cute and professional dresses for work for $15 and jeans were 50% off, who doesn't love a good sale. There was a bunch of cute clearance stuff and it's a must visit if you want to update your closet or just treat yourself. read more

I needed a belt because between myself and my bride, nobody remembered to pack one for me for the trip, and my britches were falling off due to the weight of my cell phone and wallet in my pockets. Believe me, nobody wants to see a middle aged fat guy with his britches at his ankles out in public, so off we went to find a belt. We left Old Navy empty handed. I really wanted to like this location. We just moved to the area. Went in today to exchange or maybe choose something else. I approached the cashier, she was friendly. Was told boldly j have to choose the same item because I used a coupon???? I didn't mind paying more if I liked something else. Anyway!!!! Looking around with so many employees walking the floor NO one approached me and asked if I needed help, which I DID . I don't like messing there display. Also noticed a young lady asking 5 people around me about an Old Navy CC..... She didn't ask me IDK maybe I'm speculating !!!!!!! I think she thought I didn't speak English....... I'm in this store pretty frequently, its always busy. With that being said I went in your store tonight, you guys really should have more than two cashiers on back to school season. Clothing is usually stocked in all sizes pretty well. Clothes last a while. Would recommend for casual clothes, but not for fancy occasion clothes. read more

I have never had such an atrocious customer experience in my life as the one that I had today at Old Navy in Wilmington. The check out girl was the same person who I had spoken to on the phone before coming to the store and she gave me incorrect information which the manager agreed to honor (additional sales online which weren't in the store). When I got to the register she was argumentative and told me that she did not tell me what I said and kept trying to get in the last word. I asked for another sales associate and she kept going on about how I was wrong. I was so embarrassed that I decided not to purchase the items but not before finding the manager who she was already loudly talking to me about. At this point I was almost in tears but I let him know that I have worked in retail and customer service for years and the customer is always right even when there is a miscommunication. I also let him know she humiliated me. He apologized that I felt that way. I left the store and immediately called Old Navy/Gap corporate and made them aware of what occurred. Shout out to Old Navy, especially Store Manager, Bridgett! My daughter lost an envelope of money during Thanksgiving's Black Friday while shopping at this store. Not realizing the envelope had slipped from her purse until she arrived to her next destination, a quick trip back to Old Navy proved too late! Someone had come claiming this money and this person was given the money! Hours later, after police had arrived and statements taken and store video reviewed.......no doubt the money dropped from my daughter's purse., another customer after 15-20 minutes had passed, spotted the envelope and turned into cashier. Cashier gave to whomever was the manager on duty, NOT BRIDGETT, who gave the envelope to This Thief, pretty much no questions asked. Thank God Bridgett did her due diligence in ensuring the Corporate Office took responsibility for This store"s negligent act of not asking the right questions, reviewing their own store video before giving property to the wrong owner! Thanks Bridgett for all your help! This money was given out of love and from many hours of care giving from a grandmother for her babies!! read more

I have had several poor experiences at this location, sad to say. Their fashions are hit or miss, and only sometimes do I see styles I really like, so I don't shop here all that frequently. I have had a fitting room attendant put half of my selections back while I was trying on clothes, and not much help after the fact to try and get them back. Which was really frustrating bc I had pulled a few off the clearance racks, which take atleast 10m to dig thru. One top I had really liked, now never to be seen again. Then another time I had bought a sweater, never worn it, just sat in my closet with the tag still on it, when I called to inquire about a return *with receipt*, the MANAGER told me "well you might get like a dollar for it". incredibly rude I thought. The cashiers don't make small talk, shoot, they might not even look you in the eye. I typically use my ON card so atleast they don't badger me about that. I have had a few nice cashiers, and maybe a person or two that has asked if I'm doing ok out on the floor, but overall I have a bad impression of this store... and I've been shopping here for a few years. read more
