On a tight budget, I skipped the big…read moredepartment stores and gave Men's Wearhouse another chance after they gave me a really bad experience over 10 years ago. The location was extremely busy for a Sunday (and crowded), but every sales associate took the crowd in stride, helping multiple customers at once with a level of ease that made the whole situation feel normal. Jordan helped me put together a solid ensemble for formal parties and business events. He nailed my jacket size on the first try and quickly grabbed a better size of slacks after the first pair didn't fit. The shirt he paired with the suit was perfect for the increasingly warmer weather here in Middle Tennessee, and I even found a nice tie. I will say I felt a little rushed trying everything on, but I attribute that to the store being barely big enough to accommodate the volume of customers, and I don't believe the staff is at fault in this case. Given the age of the retail area it's located in, I would definitely say this location is due for a remodel or, better yet, a relocation to a bigger space in the Murfreesboro area, perhaps The Avenue? It's especially noticeable since this is the only store in the county, with the next 2 nearest locations noticeably larger and a considerable drive away (about 40 minutes). Back to the topic at hand, though, I was thoroughly impressed by Jordan and will definitely be back to this location in the future.

We visited around 4pm on Sunday, and the sales associate "assisting" us (brown hair, probably in his 30s, on the taller side) wasn't showing us what we were looking for. The items he did show us were too expensive and very ill-fitting, so we didn't end up making a purchase (not his fault, just didn't work out). As we were leaving the store, he turned to my husband and said, "Good luck with her." Even if I were a difficult customer, that behavior is so unbelievably disrespectful. I know customer-facing jobs can be hard and stressful, but that is no excuse for a tactless comment. I am absolutely disgusted. Had we known the store was staffed by such sleazy, classless employees, we never would have visited in the first place. Don't waste your time.

There are 5 dressing rooms with plenty of room and great lighting. The only reason I take off a star is the service. On my most recent visit, I was not greeted by an employee the entire visit. Even when I walked past an employee with an armful of clothes, they did not offer to open a dressing room for me. When I went to check out, I had to stand around while the employees finished their conversation before they helped me out.
