I visited the store yesterday based on an email I had received about an in-store special on tunics. The email had 5 different styles listed, all priced at $8. The store had 2 of the stiles, and only one for $8. The other style was much higher price and in sale for 20% off. I showed an employee the email and the fact that it was specifically marketed as an in-store special, but they refused to honor the price listed. At this point I was pretty frustrated. I should have just left the store at this point.
However, I ended up picking up a few items for my daughters and when I went to check out, 2 of the items rang up at the wrong price. I had to point this out and firmly ask them to honor the prices that were marked, then had to do the math for the 30% off they were offering on all clearance merchandise. My total was $31. As you walkin the store, the large sale banner reads "$20 Super Cash for every $25 spent." The clerk said that I had to spend $50 to receive it. I walked outside, read the sign again to be sure I wasn't wrong, and then read it to him and another gal. They said the signage was incorrect, and that it was supposed to be $10 in Super Cash for every $25 spent, but that they were out of the $10 vouchers so they couldn't do anything for me. I asked them to honor the sign, pointing out that it was false advertising, was refused, and as I was leaving, a third employee handed me a $20 voucher and made an excuse as to why her fellow employees weren't informed of the promotion that was going on. Needless to say, I will be using my super cash at a different location. This is disappointing, as I used to shop here all the time, but this visit was terrible in every way. read more
