I especially like to pop in for Church items for such worthy organizations as First Stop, that provides needed items for the homeless (boxer shorts, socks, scarves, winter gloves, etc.) And for the Angel tree/Senior tree gifts at Christmas time! For clothing, you may not be able to get the current year's latest and greatest styles, but everything is new and at a substantial discount. Their selection of women's shoes is smaller than say, TJ Maxx, as is their purse selection. I typically don't find much in terms of clothing here, and their selection is, again, smaller than TJ Maxx. Still a go to store for pillows, throws, socks, wrapping paper, gift bags and the like. If you haven't tried a Ross store, do it - you'll save enough money to not feel guilty splurging on a nice dinner out!

Statistics say in 2022 there are 170.08 million female women with 41.1% being considered obese in 2021. The plus size clothing is almost half of what Americans are looking for and there are a lot of articles on that subject matter. Yes I know we should lose weight, however I went in this store to try and find some nice workout clothes since Ross is a reasonably adorable place to shop and the plus size athletic wear was almost obsolete, in fact it's so small it's mixed in with the Plus size clothing. Smaller sizes has its own workout clothing area and it's nice everyday clothing section. Not right at all!

READY FOR FALL! This…read moreis a nice store that is currently ready for fall. They have great sweaters in rich, warm colors and a nice selection of ankle boots. I was looking for a nice knee length cardigan that was not too casual and I found the perfect one at this location. Of course the price was great. I really wanted to find a nice black leather bag but they tend to have more non-leather options than leather ones. I do wish this would change. I also wish they had more to offerings for mature men who like well made classic pieces and not trendy options. If you are looking to transition into a fall wardrobe, TJ Maxx is well stocked and ready to go! The home decor department is also fully stocked with Halloween and Christmas items so if you need to get inspired, you should check their inventory.. Customer service was warm and friendly and the wait at check-out was minimal.

But as I was Christmas shopping this year, I found almost exactly what I was looking for in their men's clothing section. Here's the best part of my experience. They didn't have the size I needed in a half sip jersey. I asked a sales representative if they had any others in stock? The answer sadly was no. BUT! They could order it and have it shipped to me free before Christmas!! Excellent! A great shopping experience.

This store is large and was full of shoppers. There was a sale on fall merchandise. The checkout registers were 3-4 deep of customers waiting to pay. I walked past the people to see what people were buying. Well that was hard to see right away. There are aisles stocked up to the ceiling against the walls. Christmas items were along the back wall. Now I know why I can't find Christmas items in December! Some items were marked down 70% and people were buying. There was an abundance of Halloween stuff on sale too. Clocks and pictures looked to be hugely marked down. Markdown signs were all over. A shopper's paradise is markdown and clearance signs. I have friends who shop at Hobby Lobby 2-3 times a month. I see why. The store seems to have a little bit of everything. It would be very easy to fill up a shopping cart. Ok back to what I was looking for. I did find several wood pieces I could use to elevate my Kaleidoscape. The number of wood and cork items I could have purchased were tenfold what the other store had. I got in line to pay and only had 1 person in front of me. Checkout was fast and very pleasant. I highly recommend this store. It was a pleasure walking around inside and I will return.

Of course, it's in a dying mall (sadly, this was "the" mall when I was in high school) so I wonder how long many of those stores will remain open for business. I recommend that any moms-to-be check out Motherhood. They're owned by the same peeps from Pea In the Pod and their prices are slightly cheaper than Pea, although overall more expensive than what you'll find at Target. There's always plenty of stuff on sale and the sales staff are amazingly friendly and helpful. You'll likely even score some free stuff depending when you visit - I just got a few free pacis on my last trip. Why not five stars? Like I said, some of the prices seem a bit steep to me and the shop has an overall feel of disorganization, although I'm not slamming the product in any way because overall I'm super happy with the clothes I've purchased here. Definitely worth a stop if you're expecting and need to add some pieces to your wardrobe.

The one thing I really liked about this store is that it was spaced out nicely. Some of these outlet style stores (think Ross, Marshalls, etc) can really pack stuff in and make it hard to see what they have. This store is large and spacious and not overly crammed in. That being said, I really didn't think this store had a very large selection of stuff for men and women. My wife did find something, but there really wasn't a lot to choose from. The couple things I found that I liked they were really limited on size availability. It's not a bad store, it has a nice new feel about it. Staff was friendly. I'm sure it's like all the others and they go through cycles where they have more stuff of interest, we just caught them when they didn't have as much stuff that we liked.
