One staff member addressed me, asked what I was looking for, and quickly handed me off to another sales person behind the register who refused to even look at me. The two then disappeared through a door to the stock room. Umm, what? I was in workout clothes and my hair was in a bun, so I wondered if they had judged me for that then remembered how ridiculous it would be for them to dismiss me because of that. For the record, I happen to have worked retail for years and know from experience that you never know which customer is going to drop some serious dough.
