It was clean, the picture was good, and the sound was good. The seats are reserved. The staff was great. I don't do concessions, so no idea on that. The price was reasonable. The Liberty Theater is in a thriving walkable downtown of small businesses. On a Saturday, the free parking was congested, but plentiful a few short walking blocks away. Two breakfast diners can both prosper next door to each other. The theater completes downtown, and is well worth visiting if you are in the neighborhood, or seek a film not showing elsewhere in the area.

Received an invite to the Vancouver Symphony and a group of 4 of us decided to attend…read more The Vancouver Symphony has been around for 39 years and their Spanish conductor, Salvador Brotons, has been leading them for 27 seasons. They keep their costs low and they currently hold performances at Skyview Concert Hall (@Skyview High School). Ticket prices range from $10-50 and there was plenty of free parking. We attended the VSO Pop Series: Adventures in Film & Fantasy. Thus, the song selections included: Lord of the Rings, Back to the Future, video games and more. I was thrilled to see the audience filled with children of all ages. The ticket prices allow for an affordable experience for a family. In addition, they provided imagery on screens from the movies, which kept the young ones in the audience captivated. Their performance exceeded my expectations and I look forward to attending more performances.

When we arrived on reservation day, the staff was prepared with our reservation information and we completed the remaining payment and shoe rentals for our group. The process was smooth and painless. The snack bar staff was friendly, helpful and accommodating. We ordered the club sandwich with fries and the pretzels with nacho cheese. Both were really good. We were pleasantly surprised. Reasonably priced and fresh ingredients. The establishment was clean and set up well. Happy we were able to eat while we bowled down by the scoring machine. We also appreciated that they spread out the bowling groups well, so we didn't feel like we were bowling on top of each other. Overall a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back!

It was a really great time and we spoke to the general manager and he was a very nice young man. I would recommend anyone come here, the prices for credits was very affordable. The points and credits don't expire, you can trade up your plush for something bigger, and it's something you can take kids to, teenagers can have fun here, and adults too! It's in a good location central in Vancouver, I would say this is a great fun place to hang out and get some new plush friends to take home! Highly recommend and I'll be back soon!

The claw machines would grab the stuffed toys easily but would drop the stuffed toys right before they got to the prize hole almost every time like it was programmed to do that.My kids did end up coming home with one prize each but it was pretty exspensive to get to that point.Maybe I had too high of hopes it might be a bit easier for younger kids to win something at a decent price. we have had much better luck at other arcades so it was just disappointing on how much it cost. Also one of the bears my oldest daughter won had a dress that had bunny's holding needles and pill bottles on it. We didn't notice until after winning it and heading home. I'm writing this review as a mama of two littles who took multiple classes at RPA... and as a current dancer in the adult classes as well. From the moment we walked through RPA's doors the whole studio made us feel welcome and like family. I can't tell you how kind and down to earth the entire studio is. I've had the pleasure of taking classes with just about every teacher and they are all extremely talented and easy to learn from. Annie (the owner) is who I have spent the most time with and she is wildly talented and such a great teacher. She is really good at meeting every person where they're at and taking them where they want to be... all at the same time. She equally makes learning fun while challenging you. Josh's choreography is continually breathtaking and tells a story! I learned so much from him and gained confidence from his teaching in just a year. Sarah, on top of being an amazing tapper, has a fun and infectious personality you can't help but love! Her classes are such a joy to be in. Vanda is warm and inviting. I love that she choreographs hip hop to the lyrics-- making it that much more of an immersive experience. Another thing-- these adult dance classes are truly all levels, all experiences, all ages, all genders. It's a "come as you are" experience and it's really quite special. I am so grateful to have found such a warm home to enjoy the arts. And if you're looking for one... come on in!

Of course the full band might be something different on the night of the concert. There are nice art booths to browse mainly a diversion for me. The food is ok but there is more "near by" either downtown or on the river front. The later might be high priced. There is of course wine, something like 70 types over the course of 3 days (not sure all the bottles are open at once). I think I was told the reserve seating gets wine from Maryhill that is that is not offered in the wine stations and vice-a-versa(sp?) (I am volunteering there for the 2nd year, last year I also sold tickets for buying wine or beer). I think there is a farmer's market just outside the park on Sunday. The beer is more limited than I remember no dark or amber, but 2 IPAs, which I know is what most people like. I will probably suffer with a Blue Moon, if I don't go outside the park when I am not on a shift. In 2012 they had Jose Feliciano, what a treat to see him up close. Friday is the blues, and I think all Portland bands, which are quite good. Terry Rob is very good , though he doesn't play the hard driving style he used to. The Friday afternoon drive from Portland can be pretty slow. Allot of people line up at the gate so they can place their chair up front, I prefer to sit under the shade of one of the trees. I like 60s rock and roll, old time jazz my Dad listened to, and blues and many other forms of music, but not some later versions I know many would prefer. Also while the music is great don't expect Taylor Swift to "stop by" this small venue. Also get your ticket in advance quite a discount! And bring rain gear. (I remember one year the gal next to me said I wouldn't need all that, and it rained so hard that by the time I got my rain pants on I was a bit wet and cold and she went home to get more clothes, I was going to say I was thinking of bringing more. Maybe that is what she mean't , ie that she hoped she would not need more. Anyway I saw mention for a chance of rain on Friday maybe Saturday this year in 2026. If you need a break check out the river front or maybe the fort, get a bite in downtown etc.

My review is based on being a performer and a viewer over many years. The one complaint I hear over…read moreand over from both sides is the airplane noise flying overhead, being that it's so close to PDX. It's not a big problem until the Artist is doing a ballet or a low volume song, the sound engineer seems to do the best job they can, but the jumbo 777 jets will win every time. At the last festival 2022, I was lucky enough to provide percussion to the Grammy Award winner Latin Jazz Legend, Poncho Sanchez and his band. The Band was fire that night and Poncho and band couldn't be sweeter. The festival's crew were very helpful and kind, and they worked their butts off the whole weekend. The food - well this is where I think there is room for improvement in terms of variety and volume. For example they had a ice-cream vender that had way overpriced ice cream cones for 8 bucks a scoop and only offered vanilla or chocolate. Love to see more Mexican food personally. All & All - As a performer the crew is very professional and hard working, as an audience the food and drink options need some help. The parking is good and plenty of restaurants within 1-3 blocks away if you wanted to eat after or before the show. Pro Tip - Go early, bring something warm to wear, and eat outside the event and try sitting on the east-side of the stage unless you want to hear the porta-potty doors slamming shut every 5 seconds.
