We bought a house in July of 2022 in a subdivision they built close to smith lake park. From the…read moreday we moved in we have had nothing but issues along with hearing/seeing our neighbors issues. When we moved in our sink faucet was broke, and found out it was installed broken. It took them a month to come fix it. Our water bill was outrageous for the first two months of being here because of their error at the meter. Our hot water heater leaked for 8 months before they figured out the issue and it's all because they never ran the pressure relief valve pipe outside. It's currently still in our hallway closet and when the plumber came to fix the leak, he put a cap at the bottom of the pipe which can cause even bigger problems than we already have. Because of the hot water leak, our kitchen floor has concrete coming up through the cracks. They replaced the kitchen floor once because they thought the guest bathroom toilet was leaking. It probably was because it was installed without a seal. After they fixed the floor, we continued with having issues of a wet kitchen floor and dried concrete coming through the cracks. Which they then discovered the hot water leak. This is just a small list of the issues we have had! They have been aware of these issues for almost 5 months now. Over 2 weeks ago we had one of their guys come and inspect the issues, take pictures, and document everything. They were supposed to come over a week ago to fix everything. I haven't heard a word. I'll never buy a single house they build or remodel ever again.

Jim didn't hesitate on scheduling an appointment quickly. When he showed up, I found him personable, professional, and highly knowledgeable in his trade. It didn't take him long to identify storm damages, and he walked me through the insurance claim process, which greatly reduced my stress. Once my insurance scheduled the adjuster, Jim made himself available and the adjuster agreed with all the inspection results without question. When my insurance agreed to cover the damages, Jim provided a detailed breakdown of his costs in relation to the insurance coverages. Again, he guided me through the process and provided recommendations on the shingle differences. Once I decide on the materials, he scheduled to have them delivered within minutes of his crew showing up. The D&G crew didn't mess around with getting to work, the old shingles and felt were stripped off within 90 minutes. They had tarps positioned over my planters, there wasn't a piece of debris left on the ground anywhere. The crew repaired wood damage and set to an extremely efficient installation of the new roof, with flashing positioned to help prevent future wood damage. I was astounded at the entire job being completed in 8hrs! That's from the first ladder going up, to the last vehicle leaving my driveway! 8hrs, and I had a completely new roof! Jim inspected the work less than an hour later, and certified it. He's backing the workmanship for five years! If you've read any of my other Yelp reviews, you'll see I'm honest, objective, and have no reservations on calling out poor work, and customer service. I'm not affiliated with D&G Roofing, but will tell anyone who listens; if you are looking for a honest, hardworking roofing company, this is the only one you need to call!
