Do not board here if you are a female. The long time boarders 9+ years are the best part of this place and kind and helpful.
The management is a 40 year old male who takes every female into his home for a tour when they first start boarding, left his last job because he got upset that a female complained about him sexually harassing her, he has sexually harassed at least 3 females while I was there. I told the barn owner Jaimie that I felt very uncomfortable about the male employee because I had been laying down on the ground sick one evening from a hypoglycemic episode and when I was left alone on the ground the male employee started obsessively talking about his semen.
Jaimie promised she would tell the employee my complaint before I left because I wanted to feel safe but she did and he came out of his house while I was at the barn alone extremely unhinged and blaming me for words I never said. Jaimie and the male employee Luis say horrible things about each other to boarders and are two faced about boarders.
There are too many examples of inappropriate behavior from the 40 year old male including preying on young innocent college age females every night. Two hour tours on the quad and then into his house.
I am not the only female to report his aggressive and extremely inappropriate behavior.
Jaimie lies a lot and talks very poorly about boarders to boarders. She got hysterical about me buying my own hay because I didn't want to communicate with the male employee. She had previously told me it was fine to buy my own hay if that is what helped me feel safe and told me to deduct $3 a day from board for that. She got that price from diving a bale into 12 flakes. When I followed her instructions she flipped out and said she never said that. When I quoted her words back to her she dropped the topic completely. She placed rules on me like putting my hay in a stall instead of the hallway to be fed when other boarders had their hay in the hallway. I was driving to the barn twice a day everyday and three times on Sunday to feed and avoid the male predator. She said that it stressed her out. When I reached out to find common ground because I couldn't imagine she would really protect a predator so loyally especially after the horrible things she already said and the sexual harassment complaints she already received about him, she asked if I wanted him to move a bale for me. She completely disregarded the agreement she made, blamed me for her stress about the agreement she created and was seen lounging relaxed in a chair with the male employee who has sexually harassed multiple girls and women on the ranch. The first time I told her about his inappropriate conduct, her exact words were "He's like a kid in a candy shop with a bunch of pretty girls" and "He is using the barn as his dating pool".
But the way he acted every single day and night after my complaint was like he was encouraged to prey on women whatever age they are. Jaimie is aware of restraining orders from the male employees past relationships and 7 children and criminal history of this male employee.
Nothing was done to protect any females and he only became more aggressive and obsessive to females after complaints were made. Jaimie spoke about love and community when I first moved there but I experienced the most two faced, toxic and volatile management I have ever experienced. The predator is well protected there and if you complain about sexual harassment it will not matter at all even though she has verbally admitted that he does in fact have a history of this and she is aware of his behavior with females at her barn.
I do not wish boarding here on anyone. It is very close to campus so I hope that young college students do not fall prey to this 40 year old man. read more
