We passed through Maddock while exploring our family roots that stretch back several generations…read more We were delighted to find Harriman's. Although this time we only got to savor the coffee, we were able to hang out long enough to get a good sample of the local hospitality and ambiance. We found the Harriman's building occupied by friendly folks, some of whom remembered stories about one of our relatives from decades ago. The library is next to the coffee, helping make this a fabulous place to meet up with friends and neighbors.

I love it, and love the fact that the community came together to make it happen. They have a HUGE variety of coffee and non-coffee beverages as well as these incredible (and highly-coveted) caramel buns (I think that was what it was called) that are apparently available Saturday mornings only. We were fortunate enough to try one - only because the lovely people in front of us in line heard my husband was dying to try one and said they wouldn't order the last one so he could have it. One final note... they have an "apple caramel big train". I'd never heard of that drink before so ordered one. It was DELICIOUS. From what I could tell, it is something between a milkshake and a smoothie.

The only reason I may make this place sound great it because my best friend's daughter works here. To be honest they need to step up on their cleaning. It was dusty and I sneezed many times. The wait time was okay. I mean who expects teens to make a sandwich in less than 40s

They gave us a $14 gift card (we ordered 3 and I refused a full refund based on what she told me) I didn't want the new employee getting in Trouble. Then- almost two weeks later--- the subs were inedible. No meat, falling apart, wet bread- NO EXCUSE will never order from here again Pictures say 1000 words- check out my pics!

They have 16 beers on tap, and 8 of them were different versions of Budweiser. Damn they like their Budweiser out here. I just can't drink it. Call me a beer snob, but I refuse to drink piss water. They have the typical bar food here, and all pretty decent. Nothing to phone home about though. But when you're hungry and need a nice cold beer, this place will hit the spot. They also have some live music on some nights and I remember singing along to some old Neil Diamond's song. The outdoor seating is nice and when the weather cooperates, I suggest sitting outside.
