I was told I have to take him to irmo location because that groomer is good for doodles. So I showed up at 8 a.m. 5 weeks after his butch job. And they told me I was suppose to take him to west columbia location. I was like wth.. but she showed me a text that mentioned west columbia but then they sent me the address to irmo location .. i just need a good groomer, this area is short on qualified groomers. I'm from Florida and had the same groomer for all my dogs for 15 years. Hear I've had him at 5 different groomers. I promise it's not me . And of course they blamed me for there incompetence. So sad, considering opening my own grooming shop. For people who just can't find a shop here. Terrible experience.

Since the kennel is next to their house, someone is always available to take care of the pets. Plus, it's a pretty small place, which means each pet gets special attention. The prices are VERY reasonable as well. MUCH better experience then other kennels in the area (even the ones we like!). When we picked up the dogs, we forgot to grab their blanket, and Bill washed it and brought it to our house the next day! Now THAT is amazing service. We will definitely be back.

I have taken my small dog to Bill and Mary many a time. I absolutely love the setup they have -…read moreeach dog has their own space with access to their own toys/bed and then a doggie door if they want to go outside. They must let the dogs run around quite a bit, which is great - because every time I pick up my pup from them she is worn out! they also play relaxing music in the little pup cottage and the lighting is very relaxing (not sure if the dogs care or not) and Bill actually gave me a tip for dogs that maybe don't eat their food when they're in a new place - he recommends putting a little chicken broth in their dry food and that always works for my dog who tends to not eat her food when she's in a new environment. Highly recommend - great folks who really care for the animals that are brought to them.

There is no better place than Old Salem. We've been taking our dogs there for going on 9-10 years…read more We know they are taken care of and are safe. Todd is amazing with them - all we have to do is tell them they're going to see Todd and they immediately begin to bark, run to the truck, jump in and out and do the same sorts of things when we arrive. It's a bit of a drive for us but well worth it when we pick them up and they're still happy boys. We tried a couple of other kennels with our first two German Shepherds but they just didn't quite measure up - unless Todd closes down (please NO!), he'll continue seeing the Kole dogs on a regular basis. Thank you, Todd, for such an awesome safe place for all the fur babies you've kept over the years! L. Kole

We couldn't have asked for a better experience nor for a better place to leave our babies while we were away. The staff was polite especially miss Lynn, the yard was well maintained, the animals have well ventilated kennels along with A/C so they wouldn't get to hot in a confined building. They were given daily breaks with out times and dogs with special needs were maintained in a separate building so they would not be disturbed. We were given updates on our baby due to her having mild seizures which really helped ease my wife's mind while we were away. Needless to say we couldn't have asked for a better place to leave our babies while we were gone and will DEFINITELY be using them again. Thank you again CREATURE COMFORTS.

Oscar used to bark, get very nervous, and nip at people's feet when people would come over and it's like he's a totally different dog. He's stopped all those behaviors and is so much more confident.
