Honestly, I do not come to academy often. Now I remember why!…read more The last time I was here, I was returning a bike. Enough said. So, it's been awhile. But came, well, the more proper term would be I was dragged, along by my husband, so he could purchase his first firearm. That part was ok, I guess. The process took a bit, so I ventured out into the store. I'm a big runner and yogi. The first place I went to was the yoga area. I was very disappointed. Nothing of really good quality was sold their, except maybe some expensive manduku mats. The rest where very cheap, even the giam brands. They ha a box of clearance mats, but behold, all of them had really bad tears and mess ups. No thanks.. They did have a bunch of blocks, yoga straps, and starter kits. I was disappointed they didn't really have any yoga themed clothing, like they do for running. But it is what it is, at least they have leggings! the women's running and athletic apparel where on super sale, some having racks with running shorts, 4.95$! And other racks having underarmer, and Nike items, for 20$ and under! It was a ok experience. I asked employees where certain items where, and they couldn't tell me. That's okay, I'm fine with wandering around ;) Overall. Okay store. I would rather go to a specialty store, Ross, or order off amazon.

I tried again on Nov. 23rd. Again, no one answered the phone or responded to email, but I did get a reply via chat after a while, saying that they were waiting on a shirt to come in and they would ship everything on the 25th. None of the items stated they were out of stock or a pre-order, but as long as they were shipping soon, I was fine with that. Another week went by, and I still hadn't received my order. I am literally 15-20 minutes from their store, so shipping should only take a day or two at most. I paid for shipping for the convenience, thinking that they could ship much faster than I could get by there. I reached back out multiple times between Nov. 30th and Dec. 2nd to get another update or tracking (via chat, email, phone, and FB messenger). It shows they've read my messages, but they have not responded at all. Poor customer service and communication, and as of right now I am out hundreds with nothing to show for it. Very disappointed. Their store used to be one of my favorites on Campus Corner, but I definitely won't be placing another online order with them again. These items are gifts and I would still like to receive them asap, so please provide an update!

BJ came over and degraded the young woman until it was obvious she wanted to cry. I tried to encourage her. He admonished me for encouraging her. He speaks to his associates TERRIBLY AND MAKES CUSTOMERS FEEL AWKWARD AND UNCOMFORTABLE!!! I have been back to the store several times since this incident. This manager is OUT-OF-CONTROL! One of the times, a customer literally TOLD THIS MANAGER TO SHUT UP! because he was hounding her about an item to purchase. He then became completely rude and aggressive with not only that customer but others and even worse with his associates. That MetroShoe Warehouse keeps this buffoon is astonishing!
