Oki Doki Hostel is located in the heart of Warsaw. You are close to the Old Town Square and are close to several restaurants and shops. The minute I saw a sign for AIR-CONDITIONING UPGRADE, I immediately signed up for it. When you stay in Europe during the summer, you'll understand. This hostel is very chill, they have planned activities, but aren't pushy. My room was clean and I stayed in a mixed room with 7 other people. I wish there was more space and amenities, but when you are paying dirt cheap, you can't complain. read more

Went traveling around Europe for a month, and this was hands down the best place I've ever stayed at. Oki Doki really made my time in Warsaw special. First of all, the location was absolutely beyond perfect; I was in walking distance of everything. The staff were so friendly and helpful; I had so many stupid questions and they answered them with complete understanding. I stayed for 4 days the first time around, went to Lithuania, had a bad experience and came right back to Warsaw and they welcomed me with open arms! Unlike other hostels there's so many places to hang out. You have the cafe area in the reception where you can choose to hang out outside. You have a basement area with a lounge area with tables and couches, and there's also the kitchen area where there is also outdoor seating. I've never seen a hostel with so much space! The rooms were always tidy and there was curtains on your bed so you had privacy. One other thing I took for granted after traveling more and staying at different hostels was that there were many bathrooms! Oh my have I missed that. There were en-suite bathrooms, bathrooms in your floor, bathrooms near the kitchen area and some in the basement. The hostel I'm currently at has only one in the room and only one at the reception area. Will definitely book again if I ever travel back to Warsaw which is very likely! read more

I stayed here for about a week while visiting Warsaw. It is right in the middle of Warsaw and the location was quite convenient. Granted when I had my first overnight stay there prior to my onward journey to Turkey, I arrived in the evening it was cold, raining and got lost trying to find this place. Mind you I don't speak Polish which didn't help things. I eventually made my way safe and sound. The dorms are clean and I during my week's stay at the hostel I ended up meeting some great fellow travelers that I toured around the city with. Granted this hostel is in an older building, it is Europe and to fellow Americans traveling here its just the way it is. The rooms were clean, the bathrooms were sufficient, for what you paid for. The staff was incredibly helpful in getting me set up with local tours or places to see /eat. There's also a bar onsite which wasn't huge but decent and forced my introverted self to socialize with the help of a beer. In case you were wondering the staff there does speak English so language shouldn't be a barrier. For me especially when I was still single and traveling alone I preferred to stay at hostels as I frankly felt safer. When you're amongst other solo travelers it just makes it easier. read more

This is probably the worst hostile I've ever seen in any country. I'm sure there's a lot worse out there. They charge me roughly 160 PLN. That's two days pay if you have a good job in Poland. I got a really nice hotel for roughly 300 PLN at the Hilton, with all the bells and whistles. I was lured in by the professional pictures they posted. But the place was anything but modern. I asked for my money back. The receptionist asked why. I told her the room was smelly and disgusting and that I would not sleep in it. She said it was the first complaint she ever had. She's a big fat liar. This is a classic case of bait and switch. The pictures speak for themselves. read more

Fun hostel right in the heart of Warsaw. The staff are really friendly and the atmosphere is very social so it was perfect for a solo traveller like myself. There are events in the bar every night like karaoke, quizes etc. Dorms are clean & comfortable with big lockers for all of your stuff. Would recommend for those looking for a good social hostel experience, if you are a private person who likes their privacy maybe look elsewhere. read more

Nice rooms, they try to give every room it's unique style and friendly staff! We arrived at 5am, got some sleep in the main room and our room were ready at ~10am (though the booking says at 3pm) Nice rooms, clean hostel, wireless everywhere and they give you good tipps for everything! At the evening they organize sth pubcrawl/drinkinggames/cooking and they got a nice small bar. Friendly staff aswell, definately i would come back ! read more

This is one of the better hostels I've stayed at. My room was clean, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the bed was pretty comfortable and the hostel is in a good location. I do have a few complaints though, I got a private room because I'm a very light sleeper and I can't sleep at all in a dorm (I would love it if I could but I can't). There were people having very loud conversations right outside my door at regular intervals throughout the night. This pretty much ruined a day of my trip; I was up until 5 am one night because of the noise. The wifi was also terrible, I got 6 times the speed using my phone as a hotspot. The bar was always packed with dudes, not a very welcoming environment if you're a solo (not single) female traveler. read more

As you can see from my other reviews, I'm not one for slumming it, but this hostel is far from slumming it. Cheap, clean, wonderful, helpful staff, fabulous bar which you can smoke in, which is great for catching up with your mates and making friends with other guests. Breakfast and wi-fi is also provided. This place is just greatI came here on a uni trip, but I think if I came back to Warsaw, I'd want to stay here again, because it's just so lovely. It's incredibly central too. More personal rooms are available (that's where our tutors stayed) too. read more
