We enjoyed our stay in this hotel - it had everything we needed for our long weekend in Warsaw.
Our room was comfortable and clean. There was no bath, and while it would have been nice to soak in a bath after so much walking, the shower was great. Housekeeping is erratic - don't expect them to clean your room every day, as if you are still in it when they are doing the rounds, they probably won't come back to it.
Also in the room was a fridge/minibar, and the usual hot drink making facilities - kettle etc. The bathroom had an OK hairdryer in it. There was a safe, and a TV, which mainly showed the news channels, and free wi-fi.
There is a cash machine in the foyer, which I liked as it felt more secure than taking cash out from a machine in the street. Reception staff were lovely and really helpful, and they can give you a map of Warsaw if you like.
The hotel is practically opposite a tram stop heading into the centre, and the tram stop has a ticket machine (not all of them do), so getting to and from the hotel was very easy.
Finally, there are a few grocery stores very near the hotel, including a small 24 hour shop which mainly sells alcohol, water and snacks (what else do you need!), and a Costa Coffee just on the next block, which was handy because the hotel coffee was horrible!
Finally, I must commend the hotel for the epic breakfast - there was just about every breakfast item you can ever imagine on offer, and you could eat as much as you like. I ate very little of it, having dietary requirements that make most food not great for me, but I did appreciate that they had soya milk for the cereals. After 2 days, I realised that asking for anything in particular was going to be fraught with misunderstandings, after I was brought a bowl of pickled mushrooms for breakfast! Haha! But for a normal eater, you couldn't fault the splendid breakfast.
I'd happily stay here again, great hotel for our purposes. read more
