Guys, this review is about Unique Luxury Canvass Camping resort which is located on this property…read more whats not to like about this place. from the owners/operators to the facilities and goodies provided...down to every detail of making sure you had everything you needed...this place is excellent! i'm gonna be honest..the washrooms/shower facilities definitely can be improved more...but hey, its camping, or should i say glamping!! we had an amazing experience. i slept really well and felt totally safe and in comfort. there was more than enough blankets to thwart the June night breeze cascading through the valley...created such a cozy and inviting environment. what a way to celebrate our anniversary! memorable and unique! but what makes this place truly a gem are Allan&Aimee! They were so easy to talk to and communicate with. they handled my bookings and my questions like family. made us feel welcomed and made sure we had everything we needed. they have thought of everything to provide to you.,.the stove, bbq grill, firepit, coolers, all plates and cutlery, a Moka Pot ( yes, you read that right), coffee, spices, hand sanis, mist bottle, water bottles, even down to a smores kit! oh yeah!! for showering, soft plush towels, body wash, shampoo, scrubs, everything...even hot water for showering.... although the washroom facilities are simply a rental portable toilet, it was very clean kept, and a bottle of disinfectant was nearby should you feel concerned. what a unique experience in the okanagan valley!! nothing beats seeing the sunset and sunrise of the okanagan valley...the trees and the clouds, the wild animals roaming and foraging, the sparkle of the lake at dusk..,wow! simply majestic!! cheers!! pls go explore you own backyard!! support local!

The washroom was not working and the shower was a primitive outdoor shower. I would have stayed closer to town if I was going without a bathroom and shower. Each room (I had the pleasure occupying all five for a family wedding) is uniquely decorated in a beautiful and charming manner, yet also has modern amenities and tech everywhere (the showers were so advanced we needed a tutorial!). The staff is super friendly and helpful, and the breakfasts were spectacular. Homemade croissants, chia mango pudding, gluten-free waffles, and traditional bacon and eggs were just some of the fantastic dishes we enjoyed our week there. For a special treat, they will even provide charcuterie and wine. Without question, this will be the place my family will visit annually. And we are picky!

(Nickel and Dime) 4- Very cramped site.(Shove then in and take your money) 5- Staff unfriendly and rude. 6- RULES and more RULES. If you like rules; Lots and lots of them, then this is the site for you. WOW I think this is governance gone crazy. Don't shower too long, don't use too much water, don't walk here, not this type of dog, don't, don't, don't, don't.....etc. All I can say is wow, who needs a new mommy or daddy to tell you what you can and cannot do- all the time. I think we paid for the use of water and if people are waiting too long for a shower maybe it's because you do not have enough (Build more). We did pay more than a reasonable rate and oh yes you crammed us in like sardines. 7- Rude staff (Very) 8- They take your money and then...... I do not suggest bringing dogs to this site. Not dog friendly at all. No beach access for dogs. ANOTHER RULE: Dogs cannot be left at campsite BUT they cannot go to the beach hmmm. So what should an owner do? Bias against many breeds of dogs. I do not recommend. Do your homework and I suggest spending your hard earned dollars somewhere else, where they will appreciate you as a customer. If you need a new mommy or daddy and want more rules then this is the place for you. Contest: see if you can count all the RULES as you walk around this place (Bring a thick note pad) RULE for Todds RV and Camping: Build more washrooms and treat us like paying customers who you care about.

The decor runs in the vein of tasteful ikea. There's a common kitchen and an outdoor bbq that guests can use to make lunches and dinners. The breakfast included with the stay had huge variety and will definitely give you fuel for the day. The hosts were happy to answer any questions we had about activities to do in the area. If you keep driving up the mountain on the road the house is located on, you'll reach one end of the Myra Canyon Trestles. Definitely go for a hike there. Super easy, albeit a very long walk, and so worth it! This place is also a ranch. Trail riding on horseback is offered separately. Our stay was so wonderful and relaxing. Don't forget to take advantage of their outdoor hot tub! Soak away your aches while enjoying the sunset views on the mountain!

My husband and I stayed here for two nights while visiting Naramata and Penticton wineries in the…read moreearly Fall. We were looking for a room on the lower end of the price spectrum and from what we found purely from online research, Y Knot offered great value for the price. The breakfasts prepared by Colin and Gail were delightful! We also enjoyed the big king sized bed in our room (dubbed Kai's Waterfall by our hosts). Although the hot tub and pool were close or down for maintenance when we visited, we were able to take advantage of the wonderful steam room in the basement. One of our must-do's during our visit was to ride the Kettle Valley Railway portion that runs across the hillside above Naramata and Penticton. We explicitly chose Y Knot because they offered us the loan of two bikes and a ride up the hillside to where the KVR bike path begins. If we had walked our bikes up there, it would have been a bad slog. Our bedroom was adjacent to a common area shared with the other guest suite. In the mornings Colin and Gail put out a hot coffee or tea for us before breakfast. There was also a microwave and mini fridge in this common space available for our use. My only suggestion is that it would have been comforting to have access to a kettle and some mugs. I enjoy a bed time cup of tea but wasn't sure if I would over step my hosts hospitality by asking to use theirs so I did without.

The B&B is on a small farm that has some fruit trees, chickens, and sheep. The setting is very pretty and the grounds are large and great for exploring. The B&B has 2 rooms. The first floor room is handicapped accessible and spacious. We stayed in the first floor and a family member stayed on the second floor. We stayed here for 9 days so we feel like we got the full experience. Both rooms have private bathrooms and queen sized beds. The rooms had TVs, AC, wifi, sitting areas, etc.... The room downstairs has a water dispenser and the one upstairs has a fridge. The rooms are updated and feel fresh and new. I have no complaints about the rooms at all. Our daily breakfast was very good and the owners will ask you what you want and can adjust accordingly. They definitely don't skimp and the food is plentiful! We had breakfast on the front porch daily. The husband does hover during breakfast. There's space for two cars (or more) so parking isn't an issue. The area is very quiet as it is a farm. On several days we saw a mother deer and her two babies walking through the fruit trees. 3 stars is A-Ok as Yelp says, but here is my reasoning for not giving a 4 star rating: When we arrived and several other times we were there, the husband wanders around with no shirt. I know it's a farm, but to be greeted in the afternoon by him sitting on the couch with no shirt is odd. Also, we felt as if our rooms were the only area we could easily go without intruding. There was a living room, but it felt like the hosts' space and not welcome to guests. When you go upstairs, you have to walk through the hosts' study/computer area. Also, the Wifi is there, but really difficult to get in the downstairs room. When sitting on the porch (as I didn't feel welcome in the living room), comments were made by the hosts about our phone/internet usage; in a judging way that we were too connected via phones/internet, etc... I've stayed at several other B&Bs in other cities and I've always felt welcome in the common areas. This B&B felt very much like I was renting a room but needed to stay in that space. I would stay here again but it wouldn't be my first choice. My family member who stayed in the other room felt the exact same way. The room itself is great, comfortable, and a good price. It's just a weird experience.
