We had the initial consultation and a couple of meetings before the wedding. They completely went beyond expectations. This is professional family business who captured the essence of who we are through photos, video, a wonderful album (online and hard copies), and great hospitality. We received so much between our journey the morning and afternoon before the wedding, during, and after. The photographs were beautiful as besides the usual staged photos, there were many natural, spontaneous ones as well. The best part was they were totally committed to this special day working with us, the venue, and all other parties involved. We wouldn't hesitate one second if we needed another event to hire them. I also sent a deposit of $140.00 to secure the spot. The photographer keeps expressing that we do not have a signed contract but I did give you the money. Why would you assume we didn't have a contract? Well I never received that contract but assumed that since I sent the money which was half of the full charge that I had secured the Photographer. Flash forward to the wedding Day, the photographer which I paid half the verbal contract amount to never showed up. I had no photographer for my Wedding. Thank goodness for i-phones. Do not trust this photographer on her word or to follow through like I did. Assume nothing with them, only after threating to leave a bad review did she finally refund the money but not before I had to dispute it with my credit card company and after much grief of having the photographer act as thought I never sent her the deposit. She did offer to do a free photo session for me and my husband, but at this point, I have a very bad taste in my mouth for this photographer whom did not show up for my wedding. Why should I make them feel better about not showing up for what I sent you money to do? I did not expect anything for free and was going to pay the balance but I was disappointed in the end. The amount of stars should be negative or at least zero but in order to post I had to put at least one star.

As we come up on our two year anniversary of our wedding we realized that the only part that wasn't…read moregreat was the photographer. As we are out of state, our relatives found this guy. What he promised and what were delivered were two very different things. When he was asked to take certain photos that we wanted, such as a few pics of the bridesmaids getting ready, he replied "I'm busy right now", as he continued to take photos of the dessert table. What photos we got were mediocre at best. Thank god we had a few people at the party who we're savvy with a camera. The photos we got from our friends were better than the ones he took by far. The leather bound album that he promised for an extra $1000 dollars never showed up. Instead, he offered up a blown up photo of the two of us mounted on foam that I could probably get at staples for $35 bucks. One can look at the photos that he has posted on yelp and/or his website look great, he obviously has some talent but I feel that if he's not into it, his work is poor. During the wedding he was somewhat unpleasant and obviously didn't want to be there. The bottom line is that we paid this guy thousands of dollars for a CD full of photos that a teenager could do with a Canon Rebel.
