I had the matcha milk bubble tea, hot with zero sugar and it tasted heavenly, the best matcha bubble tea I'd ever had. Although it was zerp sugar, it still tasted very sweet. The menu has a lot less than Chatime but they still do the essentials like matcha, taro etc. My boyfriend had the caramel milk tea with coconut drop toppings and loved it. It was very sweet with a strong but nice caramel taste. The custom options like Hot or cold, sugar and ice percentages are great, the staff were friendly and our drinks came quickly. Prices are reasonable for Bubble tea, about £3.40 to 4.50 depending on size and toppings. Overall a nice bubble tea place right beside the Arndale making it's location super convenient, decent variety of flavours but a little less than other stores, friendly staff and nice interior and seating area. They have a loyalty card but no loyalty app as far as I'm aware.

The matcha milk tea here is really nice, it tasted a bit sweeter than Chatime despite having mine with no sugar, but it did taste good and they have a good variety of flavours and toppings available. Overall nice bubble tea a bit more on the sweeter side amongst all the boba shop competition in Chinatown.

I got mine to go - choosing the honeydew melon flavour from the many many flavours and offer - went for half sugar and tapioca pearls (everything is customisable) - for £3.50 (regular size is £3) it was was well worth it due to the bubbly pleasure it brought me! I have been wanting to check out Bobo tea for a while and today I did, honestly I want to start by…read morethe name : "I love BoBo tea", I feel this name is quite deluded and arrogant because it is basically saying you love it and if you don't you are stupid. I feel this is more of a slogan than a name of a company as it doesn't give a good vibe. Bobo Tea would be much better with that as a slogan. This is like a popup shop in the Manchester Arndale near Greggs and Subway. They do normal tea, iced tea, bubble tea and you can also put some sort of jelly in them. They is no seating with this being a pop-up sort shop just in the Arndale and not a separate store hence isn't the place to go to relax while shopping, and sit down with a cup of tea. The Iced Teas are made fresh and they normally use fruits like Strawberry, Kiwi and Lemon. My barisa (Can I use that term? They are making drinks?), put in a teabag and then some strawberry syrup and ice. My iced tea was a little watery but the flavour was still quite nice. The straw was a big, fat pink one like what you get with a Mcflurry and I feel it was a little difficult to drink out of it. The staff didn't really sound out, they were relativley busy but they was loads of them to be able to cope with the demand, probably more servers than customers so they could of had a chat with me. This is probably one of the best places to get an iced tea in Manchester but still I feel this place only deserves 3 stars, and that is being generous as the staff don't really stand out, it is a little pricey at £2.50 for a medium tea, they is no where to sit hence this place is one to get a drink to have going round the arndale rather than a place to sit down and relax.

I ordered from Chatime to use the last of my UberEATS vouchers, which gave me £5 off my first four…read moreorders through UberEATS, UberEATS are basically a delivery company from Uber, who deliver products from many restaurants and takeaways including this branch of Chatime on Oxford Road in central Manchester, next to Tesco. I'm going to avoid talking about my delivery too much as this was supplied by UberEATS and not Chatime themselves, however, the delivery did take slightly longer than a normal UberEATS order would which is a shame. Chaitime is a Thai tea place, mainly selling bubble tea and tea themed coffees and mouses etc, I found the selection to be a little restrictive in terms of iced tea, for example, it was hard and there wasn't a great selection for flavoured black tea such as peach, lemon etc, but it was mainly a good selection of add-ins including flavoured milk. I ordered a Cold Tea with Peach Milk, the drink actually impressed me, the peach milk tasted quite well and went well with the tea, which was good quality, the drink for a small was priced at £3.55, although I did find it to be a little pricey, and would say the drink would probably warrant a sale around the £2.50 mark, £3 max so that is a shame. They don't really seem to sell much food either, so this isn't a cafe and it is more of a place you get your bubble tea and go, as mentioned I did find it to be high quality but the high-end nature of this place does slightly let it down with my drink costing £3.55 before any add-ins, which were around 50p extra each and so was the same price to upgrade to a large. Still for overall beverage quality, although the product range and the price of the beverage and then the future add-ins need to be reviewed, I was quite impressed with Chatime, enough for it to warrant a high three-star rating.

I tend to go for the natural flavour in a medium pot with raspberry's and honey, this costs between £3.50 and £4. Totally worth it. They usually have 4 or so flavours on offer. Today they had natural, peanut butter, match green tea and mango. You can have a little taste before you pick. They have a range of toppings too, ranging from fruit to chocolate and a variety of sauces to top it all off. In addition to the yummy fro-yo they also sell coffee and tea, as well as snacks including delicious protein balls that are vegan and healthy. The customer service has always been 5* in my experience, can't fault the guys that work here. The actual shop is a fairly small unit with about 5 seats inside and a few outside when the weathers nice. To be honest I'm surprised they've got 5 seats in there but they have, and it's comfortable. Most people tend to buy to take away. I also like that they offer a loyalty card, after 3 visits you get a free topping and after 6 you get a free small fro-yo. A must visit.

Want to know a secret? I actually prefer frozen yogurt to ice cream. It's true. It cannot be touched in terms of light, delicious brilliance. So how excited was I when I saw the bright, inviting colours of Frurt on Whitworth Street West, just off Oxford Road round the corner from Cornerhouse? All kinds of. Shortly after spying that I joined my flat-hunting amigo in an estate agents' office two Saturdays ago and picked up a copy of Urban Life to flick through. What did I see but a Frurt advert, noting their opening weekend at the end of July? Oh, now I was even happier. While I didn't make it to their grand sample give-out due to weekend commitments, the hideously cloying weather had me making a beeline for their enticing, clean and fun-looking shop. I couldn't resist. Instantly I was intrigued by the Fruit Parfait, which at £3.50 is one of the best value things on the menu (and they're all great value, believe me). You get your generously scooped and whipped fro-yo, with a choice of four flavours - au naturel, chocolate, strawberry or green tea. As soon as the last one was mentioned I was decided. Then it's topped with granola, a delightful drizzle of honey and your choice of two fruits - for me it had to be strawberry and mango. Off I wandered... and I stopped. I'm so silly for thinking I could eat this on the go. It demands your attention. You have to savour and enjoy it, and I found myself a peaceful spot of street and gave my treat the focus it deserved. And I didn't want it to end. It was almost breakfasty with the granola, fruit and honey, and there are plentiful topping choices if you want to feel a little naughtier. Just know that the base fro-yo is stupendously healthy. Isn't that just awesome? Going to a movie at the Cornerhouse? Grab yourself a cheeky takeaway treat beforehand. They're open until 10pm each day and it's our duty as independent business-loving Mancunians not to let them down. Frurt is one of those specialist places we sorely need in these parts, so let's enjoy it!

I like the decor. It's perfect to catch up with friends or coworkers, and it would be also be an enjoyable co-working space. We saw plenty of people toiling away on their laptops. Unfortunately, one little gripe though, all of the booths only had one person, camped out with their laptop, so those people should be more mindful to take a smaller table if they're going to work for several hours. I like the various seating options including big tables, small tables, comfy sofa chairs, and counter seating. The menu offers lots of options too including chai lattes which seem less common in the UK, so that was a nice surprise. Overall, it's a cool spot. I'd come again.
