When we stumbled into Fopp in Covent Garden, I was immediately in love. Not only did they have a ton of vinyl, band tees and movies on display, they had an impressive selection of really great books at super reasonable prices. I ended up picking up a copy of A Clockwork Orange and American Psycho on the cheap - something that I've been wanting, but now had no excuse. There are multiple floors to explore. Though it's on the smaller side, it still packs a punch!

This store is very very narrow which is for the size of other stores a bit dissappointing. But never the less it still holds up quite well. Being narrow means if two people want to pas each other you quite literally have to turn sideways to pass its that small. Once past that problem its clear the store requires more room. The tills are set back to aid with room on the left of the store on the way in. Recent releases of cd etc are at the fron of the store. And as you go further back you find more music, dvds and the game section. Right at the back of the store you will find an area which sells headphones and speakers from makes such as Bose, Sony and philips. I pod accessories are also available too. The store gets 4 out of 5 as the staff being helpful and the amazing amount of stock they cram in makes up for the store being stupidly small.

I hit up a couple Flashback locations but this one was definitely my favorite. It had some of the UK stuff that I was looking for, (I hail from the US), and at reasonable prices. I was in the shop for about an hour pursuing my sections/artists and taking second looks at the items in my stack and the employees let me do my thing and didn't bother me, which is always really appreciated. All of the stuff that I was looking for was on the main level, but they do have more vinyl in the basement, which is where I paid for my items. The employees were nice and understood that it was my first time in their shop and I didn't know the process of things. I loved this record shop and will definitely stop by here when I'm in London again!

We were made welcome the moment we walked in and Steve our tour guide was a font of knowledge and so interesting, he made the tour an excellent experience and would highly recommend to anyone. Took a tour of the Marshall Factory yesterday in Bletchley. We had an amazing time. A lot of…read morehistory and gear that can only be seen during the on-site tour, and of course all manner of Marshall amplifiers, including the first JTM45 the Mr. Marshall built/produced and the amp from the movie Spinal Tap the goes to 11. Our tour guide Steve was very well versed on every aspect of the factory processes. He was also very professional and cordial and had a myriad of great stories for various museum pieces. Thanks for a great experience Steve! Cheers! We also toured the newly built Marshall recording studio. Very comprehensive live recording/performance space and they have a wonderful Neve desk from the 1970s in pristine condition that produces truly transparent and exquisite recordings. I very much prefer utilizing the older Neve desks when able. My wife and I are celebrating our 33rd wedding anniversary and wrapping up a 3 month tour of Europe and heading back to the U.S.A. next week. The Marshall Factory tour was most definitely one of the highpoints of our journey. Very highly recommended.
