As the guy (owner?) at the counter said, "it's worth the wait". The spanakopita was excellent!! Light and flakey phyllo, spinach not thick and overwhelming, sprinkled with feta. Definitely a change from when I last ate here 2.5 years ago. Greek fries were good; sauce was a bit on the salty side. The dolmades ( stuffed grape leaves) were also good, and my husband enjoyed his gyro. Prices were reasonable. Literally the ONLY place I'll eat at this food court / have eaten for the last 5 years. read more

Oh Greek - Spinach Pie - Greek Near Me - Ellenton, Florida

I stopped by Oh Greek on a whim, and I'm so glad I did! Everything tasted incredibly fresh and full of flavor -- easily one of the best Mediterranean meals I've had in Florida. The falafel gyro was outstanding -- perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, wrapped in warm pita with just the right balance of veggies and sauce. You can tell they make everything in-house. The hummus was unbelievably smooth and creamy, with a light drizzle of olive oil and a hint of garlic that made it addictive. I ended up dipping everything in it! The staff were friendly, the service was quick, and the place felt clean and welcoming. Whether you're a local or just passing through Ellenton, do yourself a favor and stop here. You'll be thinking about that falafel gyro long after you leave! read more

The gyro meat was hard and dry. They only had one sauce available and the sauce cup they gave me was pretty small. Honestly some of the worst Greek food I've ever had and I eat Greek food frequently. read more

The only reason I gave 5 stars was because the spanakopita was slightly too lemony for me but still very good overall. Crunchy, hot, and flavorful. Great portions! I was not too stuffed but also not hungry after. The tzatziki was great and the salad was fresh. I enjoyed the potato salad very much especially on top of the salad - sounds crazy but sooo yummy! Service was great and didn't take too long. Overall 8.5 out of 10 read more

Mediterranean fast food Oh Greek in the Ellington Factory Outlets is one of the healthier choices in the food court. Prices are average for fast food. The staff was friendly and helpful. Baklava looked too dry but my order was absolutely delicious. I recommend if trying to eat healthy and like Greek food you try this place. Very nice owner also!! 4 stars read more

Service sucked, price doesn't match board. When questioned the young man, he sated " we always have problems with that, everyone complains." And then blamed someone else for not fixing the board.. gyro sucked , greek fries sucked. Never again.. read more

We've been coming here regularly lately but today, owners not here and employee was not so friendly and rather stay on her phone. She took my order but didn't ask what options I want on/with my order. She did not tell me the total, or ask for payment, just walked back to the kitchen to start making the food. All while she's still on the phone (convo via EarPods). Told her 2x it was to go and she still forgot (bc she wasn't paying attention) and then got an attitude when I asked for the to go containers and a bag. Food also not nearly as good/well put together as usual. Usually 10/10, today was seriously lacking all the way around. Will not order if she's working next time. read more

This is one of a half dozen choices in the food court at the outlet mall. I wasn't in the mood for greasy Chinese nor what they call pizza. It took a couple times, but the food was okay here once he got my order almost right. There was only one guy at the booth -- he was taking orders, cooking, and collecting money. I never saw him stop and wash his hands in between, just fyi. I ordered a chicken gyro combo without onions and with sauce on the side along with well done fries and a drink. You had your choice of a couple other sides if you didn't want fries. This was the combo "upgrade". You order then pay and when your order is ready they call the number on your receipt. When I picked up my order, I could see immediately that it was doused liberally in sauce. Even through the wrapping of the gyro. The fries are in a separate styrofoam container. When I opened the box, I could see the fries weren't cooked enough. So I brought everything back to the guy and explained what I needed: no sauce, well done fries. He wasn't too happy about it. A few minutes later I saw he'd put my order on the counter. I had to go back to ask for the side of sauce... he'd forgotten that. The chicken gyros were pieces of cold cooked chicken cut in small pieces. I guess maybe he'd rinsed off the sauce? The pita was cold too. AND it had onions on it, so I picked off the onions and ate the chicken along with the two thin slices of tomato and a few pieces of lettuce. The chicken was seasoned but a bit dry so it was good that I could dip it on tsaziki sauce. The fries were the best of the lot. Once they were cooked the second time, they came out hot and crispy. Make sure you ask for napkins. None were on the counter nor provided to me. Make sure you check your order to see if it's correct -- especially if you're doing take out. So you're wondering why I still gave them three stars instead of one? Their potential. They could be good if they had better staff or some help. And the basics of good food are there -- they just need to get it together. read more

I was shopping and wanted something to eat. As I walked through the foodcourt and passed by this place, it actually looked pretty good. I decided to try it out, and oh my goodness, this place was pretty terrible. I ordered the chicken gyro and tuna salad. The chicken gyro literally tasted like nothing. It was like I was just eating a mixture of food that had no taste to it. I'm not sure if that even possible but I guess it is. As for tuna salad, I guess it was a bit better than the chicken gyro. It was just a plain mixture of lettuce, tomato, and onions together with their dressing on the side and tuna that most likely came from a can. It was just not very good. Overall, I don't recommend eating here. Might as well try the other options at the food court. I am not from the area, but even if I was... I don't think I'll be returning. read more

Didn't even get a chance to order food. Just casually witnessed the guy behind the counter treat the customer before me with complete disrespect. Unfortunate because there's not much Greek food in the area but I genuinely don't want to give this place my business. They don't care about you as a customer so why should we care about them as a business. The food could be amazing and I'd still never return. read more

She tried to excuse the lack of spanikopita and grape leaves when I confronted her and then she tried to charge me for two additional sauces then just walked away when she knew she was wrong! She's unprofessional And difficult to understand. DO NOT PAY UNTIL YOU GET YOUR FOOD!!! read more

If I could give them a zero star I would. Horrendous customer service. Very rude. As if they don't depend on customers to stay in business. Supposed to open at 11am and when asked just to inquire they were quick with attitude and said 20 minutes. So we said, "okay so you open at 11:30" to which they responded with "no, 11." Unprofessional at best. read more

I got this meal deliver and got the spinach pie and falafel Never again The spinach pie was not traditional and looked and tasted like canned spinach. There was only feta on top and not even in the pie. There was WAY to much spinach and not enough fillo dough The falafel was dry and tasted gross. No flavor and Greek food is full of flavor.... only thing good was the Coca-Cola read more

Hidden gem! I was shopping at the Ellenton outlet mall and wanted a healthier option and came across Oh Greek. From the moment I walked up to the counter Ash made me feel welcomed. He is extremely knowledgeable about his products. I was pleasantly surprised at just how delicious the food was. Did I mention this is in the food court? I will be telling all my friends and neighbors to come here just for the food. Big restaurant taste in a humble well kept corner of the mall. I will be back many times over. read more

Delicious GYROS! Mom and me on a ladies day at the outlets in Ellenton. Would highly recommend on your next visit!

If I could give zero stars I would! Ordered a gyro with one side and drink which says $9.99 on the menu. I was charged $12.82. I was given my sandwich no fries no drink. I asked for both and the bitch had an attitude went back and made my fries. I asked about my drink she told me I didn't order one. I asked to see my receipt for what I paid for then. She said well let me see what I can do. Went and spoke with the gentlemen in the back. She comes out fills a cup with ice and asks what I want. I say sprite, she says we don't have any. Even though there were cans behind her. So I said Fanta orange instead. She starts to put some in and then says oh the machine is out. Takes the cup and runs idk where to with it. Comes back and fills another cup fully with orange soda, sticks it under the counter. Then puts the lid on the cup that she took with her and handed it to me and walked off. It wasn't even filled quarter of the way. At this point I'm beyond livid!!!! I'm ready to throw the cup through the window at the bitches head. I'm trying to get her attention. She purposely is ignoring me. Finally comes out and I said wtf is this, why is my cup not filled. She tried to say again that I didn't pay for a drink. Once again I asked for my receipt then to see what I was charged for. She refused to let me see it and just filled the cup. read more

I ordered a Classic Gyro and paid cash for it at 4:46 pm (12/28/2019)per my receipt. My family (5 family members) went to other vendors. They had their food and ate it. Only one other person went up to order after I did. The two guys working there put out an order just after I ordered and then stopped to drink and play on their phones. I stood by the counter waiting for my food for a while and they did nothing to make it. I went and sat with my kids and husband and waited. After 25 minutes I gave up and just set my receipt down at the counter at the pick up area and they wouldn't even look at me. I gave up and left without any food just out my $7. read more

I had a delicious gyro sandwich stuffed with meat. The gentleman manning the counter was very polite. I would eat there again.

Souvenise St.Louis Trainee Purchased Spanish Gyro

If I see a Gyro restaurant I eat. Best Gyro I've had. The meat wasn't that real thin dry stuff or the super thick greasy stuff like Salem's, it was just right. Each gyro is prepared individually so it may take a few minutes, it's worth the wait. Baklava was to DIE for. Can't wait to go back and try the rest of the choices. read more
