But I lucked out! Even with them having to order the foam for my sofa, I was able to drop off my cushions that same day and had the finished product three days later, and the cost was great! Way cheaper than replacing the sofa, and it is now as good as new. Parking is a little difficult (street parking on West Chester Pike only) but the guys in the shop hauled to cushions to my car for me. Would highly recommend!

[977] 8/2019…read more We used United Upholstery to give our 8 year old furniture new life. They came to our home as promised and even took his shoes off before entering my home. They put more back filling into the back cushions and sewed it up nicely. I couldn't even tell where the opened the seam. I'm so glad they were able to do this for a couple of hundred bucks vs a new sofa bed for a few thousand. They said I should be good for around 5 years which is great. I'm happy with the customer service, price and result. I would definitely use them again.

Or, if your couch looks sloppy and you find yourself trying to fluff up cushions to make your couch look presentable, please change the foam. My 80 year old mother had a beautiful couch that she loved. It was custom made and matched all of the furniture in the room, the rug, the window treatments, walls, etc, etc, etc. She thought she was going to need a new couch and knew that finding a new one to match everything would be impossible. We saw the commercial for the Foam Outlet, and decided to give that a try. We loaded all of the couch cushions into the vehicle, took them to Jim at the Foam Outlet and he walked us through the 3 choices of firmness. The bonus is that he has three loveseats set up for customers to sit on and try the different levels of firmness. PLUS, he has the loveseats set up to show you how the foam will feel after a few months when it gets broken in! We made our choice, left six cushions with Jim, came back 90 minutes later, and were blown away by the result! When we put the cushions back on her couch, we couldn't believe how much better the couch looked. The seat cushions have the crisp edge, the back cushions are puffy and not flat, and my mom could easily get off of the couch without any trouble. Expert craftsmanship, fast, superior customer service, and the cushions have a lifetime guarantee! Much better than buying a new piece of furniture! Her 20 year old couch looks BRAND NEW! What are you waiting for? Load up your cushions and take them to The Foam Outlet! I would give this place 100 Golden Stars if I could! Extremely satisfied. :-)

Audubon Upholstery: Buyer Beware!!! After using this firm…read morefor many years, I just had had a horrific experience. Owner is no longer a man of integrity and is quite nasty. Firm was always expensive but they now over promise, under deliver, lack quality control and will only accept cash for any balance due, often with an up charge. Owner no longer stands by his word and no longer accepts check or credit card for final payment to prevent customers from disputes arising from work not satisfactorily completed. Location was flooded out last year and owner has not made restitution for customer items lost. Moved back to same location still without flood insurance. Perhaps no fire insurance either! Has also had customer furniture for over a year and not yet completed or returned although they charge a significant deposit. Trust NO ONE there. Owner controls all decisions
