Listen...if you're not booking beauty services at Ogle, you're missing out on a hidden gem. Yes, it's a school--but don't let that fool you. These students came to WORK. I walked in hoping for a little glow-up and walked out feeling like I had a soft launch into my "new era." The instructors are clearly invested, guiding students every step of the way, which made me feel comfortable even when someone was hovering over my eyebrows with precision and purpose. And can we talk about the prices? Because my wallet was smiling just as much as I was. Pro tip: Give yourself a little extra time, because perfection takes patience--but honestly, it's part of the experience. Relax, scroll your phone, and enjoy being pampered on a budget. read more

I brought my daughter here to get her eyebrows waxed and was so impressed with not only the service provided but by how many services they provide. The instructors watch the students as they service clients in a kind demeanor. You can tell everyone there takes pride in their work. If you haven't checked them out, give them a try. There's so many services offered at a fraction of the normal cost, read more

The entire experience at the Ogle School was amazing! Abigail Michaelis did such a great job with my 11 yr old who wanted bangs and long layers. She was friendly, energetic, and made my daughter's whole day when she finished with the new look. My other daughter also had her hair cut with long layers and I feel so bad because I forgot to get the woman's name, but she did amazing as well, my daughter was happy with how the cut and style came out. I was so happy to see the instructors on the floor guiding all the students. Even the gentleman in the front who checked us out was friendly and knowledgeable and giving us tips on how to use the products we purchased. I will definitely be back, such a great overall experience! read more

I am a proud graduate of the July 2025 class at Ogle School of San Antonio, and I can honestly say I had nothing but a great experience here. Before enrolling, I did my research and was impressed that the instructors come from respected institutions such as Aveda, Milan, Paul Mitchell, and more. Knowing that these highly experienced instructors--who were already vetted and proven at other schools--are now teaching at Ogle raised the bar for me. It truly sets this school at a higher standard. I feel very fortunate to have had Miss Socorro Noriega as my facial instructor. She is nationally recognized as one of the best speed waxers in the United States, and having the opportunity to learn directly from her was an honor. I'm grateful for her guidance, her patience, and the wealth of knowledge she shared with us. As she steps into retirement, I want to wish her the very best and thank her for everything she taught me. Ogle School of San Antonio has given me the education, confidence, and professional skills I need to thrive in this industry. I highly recommend it to anyone serious about pursuing a career in beauty. read more

I was really excited to try some services at the Ogle School. Despite being advertised as a Hair, Skin, Nails salon, I was disappointed that they no longer do nails. Instead I got a lash lift and the girl helping me was so lovely and sweet, I had a great experience. But my lash lift wasn't very lifted, and despite not washing my face or getting in contact with water for 36 hours, my eyelashes went straight back down. It was pretty disappointing overall, but maybe next time it will be better. read more

Came in for a haircut and split dye (Karina)...one of my son's had an all over bleach, tone & haircut (Tamera) and the other had a perm and haircut (Karina) ....but we all left feeling like a MILLION DOLLARS and for a fraction of the cost at salons, you can't beat that. Not only did I feel great but I had so much fun. Karina and Tamera had us laughing and enjoying all our time together. We will all definitely be back! read more

I was happy with my hair color. The staff and students were friendly. And the price was right.

My daughter needed/wanted to get her hair styled for a photo shoot. I called and asked if this was available and was told yes, and they were even doing free haircuts for under 18. It was a back to school promotion. So yes! My daughter had her hair cut and styled for $30!! She was thrilled to have it look amazing and I was glad it was affordable. While she was getting all that done, I snuck and got a lash tint. There was an instructor right there verifying and making sure it was all great. It was and my lash tint is AMAZING! I almost was talked into a facial .... next time!! read more

Went in to get my dreads dyed blonde and it came out terrible. They told me to come back the next day and they'd fix it by going back to black for free. When I returned, multiple people tried to pressure me into keeping the blonde. I said no several times. Then they suddenly said I'd have to pay full price to go back to black, going back on what they promised. They only gave a small discount in the end. Wouldn't recommend. read more

Always a great experience with the student services and staff here at Ogle. The students I've had the pleasure of working with have always delivered great service and results. Whenever a student feels just a bit nervous or unsure of the next process the instructors are readily available to direct the student with just that little bit of reassurance that they are on the right track and we achieve our desired outcome. David who manages the front desk is always so helpful, knowledgeable and has amazing customer service. Definitely shows his passion in customer service. read more

I have to change my review thanks to Christina who answered the phone and rejected my mother bc "we didn't understand her" I called back and she acted unaware of the situation despite the fact that she was the one who turned my mother away. Teach some professionalism to these people. Unacceptable. Unprofessional and disrespectful. Racist shouldn't be service providers. read more

Never attend this ogle school , this is the worst school the instructors are good the 2 front desk workers are amazing but anyone higher up are absolutely ridiculous. If you can't speak up for yourself they will walk all over you. This ogle school is just a MONEY GRAB they're so unprofessional they never know nothing, are never on the same page, they don't care about you or your problems all they care about is you showing up to school so they don't get in trouble. They wait so last minute to tell you anything, i got told 2 weeks before graduation i could be terminated the week before i graduate if i didn't make this certain amount of hours but when i talk to other students they said they didn't have to do as much as the amount i was told, than two days before my graduation i get told i can't graduate on MY date because financial aid hasn't paid what they owe and the only way i can graduate on my date is if i pay the rest of the balance financial aid owes out of MY pocket , but you sign a contact STATING once you pay what you owe that's it and financial aid pays everything on the spot so i think it's funny how they think we're gonna fall for that. When i get in contact with financial aid they tell me they have no idea why they said that because everything has been paid off. These leads tell everyone something completely different. They pick and choose who they want to dress code, who they want to be watching like a hawk you do one small thing and you're on the radar but you see girls all the time doing the exact same thing and they don't get told nothing. These past 8 months have been the most miserable, draining, frustrating experiences i've ever had to deal with. I would never recommend this school to anyone that wants to come here you can find a better school because ogle school is NOT worth all the money you spend. There's so much more i can say about this school because there's no reason it should even still be operating and it's the "best school in San Antonio" i've talked to so many other people that graduated years ago and it is the complete same. You can complain all you want. talk to anyone and nothing is ever gonna change my phase 3 experience was traumatic we had an instructor that was unprofessional, inappropriate everyone in different phases all said the exact same thing and they kept her here let her treat us like we were nothing and they didn't do anything till it got to the point a student felt violated because of how inappropriate she was than that's when they decided it was time to let her go. So we end up with no instructor had to wait for a new one and they just made one of the night instructors change his schedule to mornings and nights they over worked him. We went into phase 4 learning about different things when we didn't even learn everything from phase 3 absolutely ridiculous. they're so comfortable with how they've been operating this school and treating people with no respect it's absolutely infuriating and needs to be checked by TDLR. And for those wondering Ms.Sylvia is who i'm mainly talking about. read more

The place: clean, not crowded, the seats are comfortable enough. The students: give off a sense of friendship. The teachers: ask their students. They don't act as if they know what the student will ask. My experience: we got the cut I wanted. All in all, love it! read more

Today I called and a friendly young lady answered. I asked if I could come in today. She made me an appt and I went in. The check in was smooth. No masks required. It was a very large school. Lots of happy students and a couple graduated today. The girl who cut my hair was Makayla. Super nice and she did a good job with her instructor helping every once in awhile. I've included a before and after. For 12.00 I'm very happy and I'd go back. They even do eyelashes. Yes, I'll go back. There is plenty spots to park. read more

First time visiting the Ogle School. I'd come in to be a hair model for Hannah who was being graded on a long layered haircut. Seeing as many students were testing at the same time it left her and I both in a time crunch, we'd had to wait for a sink to wash my hair. Hannah did not compromise my cut due to lack of time. I must say she did AMAZING! She took great care to be precise and when she had a question she asked. I definitely appreciated that. I love my new cut. She was able to rid me of all my split ends leaving my hair looking and feeling much healthier. Her ability to work under pressure is outstanding and I commend her on that. Great job Hannah! read more
