Traveled with some friends from the states, and decided to have a relaxing day today. One of the reasons being that they were very tired from skiing. We only did the baths; however, we spent the whole day at the spa. We were so relaxed, and never ran out of anything to do. They offer a cycle you can follow if you like, but if not you can hop from the hot tub to sauna. You may even lay down all day, if you want to! Towels were included, there was free water, and fruit. It was mandatory to have sandals and a bathing suit. I would highly recommend this spa to anyone looking to have a chill day.

Though it was the beginning of March, they allowed us to use their February promotion which was 99$+tax for 4 hour access to their Nordic spa (though we were there for 8h and nobody seemed to mind), a 60 minute treatment, rental of towel and bathrobe, lunch at their bistro and 1-hour in their dream circuit. When we reserved, we paid half the amount and the other half upon arriving. This was ridiculously good value and worth every penny. When we arrived, we were greeted by friendly staff who gave us a tour of the facilities. There are two baths, two dry saunas, a eucalyptus steam sauna and two heated relaxing areas. The main building has a lounge area with a fireplace and chess set, the bistro, and the changing rooms. It was a very charming atmosphere with lots of wood and old-style accents. Some could say it could use an update but we found it relaxing and charming. The amenities were all clean and we loved the outdoor spa. For our 60 minute treatment, we chose a couples Swedish massage. We were led to a small cabin with windows overlooking the river and were treated to wonderful massages by Lina and Lynn. So relaxing! The dream circuit was 20 minutes in a full body massage chair, 20 minutes in this leg compressing machine (supposed to improve circulation) and 20 minutes in either the Siberian sauna or the infrared light sauna. We enjoyed the circuit but wouldn't necessarily pay extra to do it again because we preferred other aspects of the day. Lunch was pretty good. I enjoyed my croque Monsieur and salad but it was nothing to write home about. Tea and coffee was included. One aspect that could be improved was the fact that nearly all the while towels had stains on them which is pretty gross. I really think they should replace these towels because it could come off as unclean. Also, it is absolutely not accessible to those in a wheelchair or who have difficulty walking stairs. Though they put a ton of salt outside, we did slip a few times so I wouldn't recommend this place to people who might have difficulty with this. Overall, we had a fantastic day surrounded by nature and relaxation and was treated extremely well by the staff. Next time we would love to stay the night in a room on site. If you don't mind a less fancy and more rustic spa experience or if you're on a budget, I recommend this place. 4.5 stars

Well, I decided - she'd never been to one before and I was really hoping for a good one. Initially we were planning on going to Scandinave at Tremblant but my neighbour was like 'if you don't want to pay 60$ and you want something with fewer people, check out Le Geyser." And I'm sooooo glad we did, Le Geyser was just perfect for us. Le Geyser is just 10 minutes past St Jovite, and the map marker on Google is currently wrong so either map from here on Yelp or follow the directions on their website. Also note: reservations are required. We were able to call and reserve 40min before showing up so I don't think you'll have a problem getting a spot, and I like the idea that the owner is interested in keeping the place peaceful and not overcrowded. The owner is an awesome woman who welcomed us kindly, a little shy with her English but willing to help my cousin understand the benefits of the infrared spa, the salt water hot tubs, etc. She moved quietly throughout the space while we were there keeping the fire lit and gently checking in - a really comforting presence in this beautiful homey space. My favourite aspects were the hot sauna, the cold salt water pool with waterfall, sitting by the fire and watching the river through the spectacular autumn leaves. There is a gorgeous shared kitchen here and 4 rooms for rent so I totally want to organize a tiny getaway here. The water course is super affordable- 29$ with tax- and the change rooms, showers and relaxation areas were all simple, lovely and completely calm. I would love to see the hot tubs upgraded someday to be more like the beautiful stone-circled cold pool, less with the foam and plastic, but honestly they were super relaxing, perfect temperature, lovely view. I look forward to coming back for a massage soon!!

We had 5 people and they were able to accommodate us all. They were very attentive although a small language barrier. I don't speak French. But a warm friendly environment and a fantastic massage. Just what we needed after a few days of skiing! We started in a small sauna for about 20 min, then went outside for the hot tubs (about 5 degrees f outside) so getting in the hot tubs was fabulous. There were two hot tubs... nothing fancy but relaxing...The views were beautiful and being outside was refreshing. After the tubs we went into the large sauna which was warming to the soul, then tried the cold outdoor shower (but it was so cold it was frozen) totally understandable in this weather... so we went inside and had cold showers, then we relaxed with hot tea and in a warm and peaceful room in zero gravity chairs. Our group was me and my best friend and our teenage/ young adult kids. They enjoyed the experience too. I read that Some of the other spas in the area don't allow talking so this was a great choice for our group as we wanted to spend tome together and have fun. I would bring flip flops, a bathrobe and towel if you go. There are lockers with showers and changing rooms too

I have been here many times to use the baths and have a relaxing massage, both in the summer and winter. All my visits were 5-star, now you may find a spa with newer tubs, larger saunas, fancy entrances but this place has charm and to me charm, cleanliness, attentive staff is what it is all about. Take a book and relax in one of the quiet areas, of course after you've been in the hottubs, steam room, and sauna. Even take a nap on a hammock, in season of course. They also offer overnight stays which I would consider, but I'm so close it seems a bit much.

Pros - Very relaxing and an array of things to do (saunas, restaurant, pool, hot tubs). - Price of the hotel stay was inexpensive, especially since it was the weekend of the Roger's Cup finals - 30 minute drive to Montreal - Surrounding city is beautiful - Continental breakfast was good - Service is very friendly and willing to help out in any way they can Cons - Hotel room door was broken and we had issues everytime we locked it - The bridge to get to the hotel is very narrow and may be difficult for larger cars to get through

Located on the outskirts of Rawdon, you can easily find the spa retreat and find lots of available parking. Walking from the parking area up to the spa was a beautiful but vigorous task as the climb was noticeable but that view was so rewarding at the same time. The place is gorgeous, located pleasantly along the side of a mountain with splendid facilities and clean grounds. When we got there at 10 AM, we noticed no other patrons were there, at least, as far as we noticed. We were alone for the sauna experiences, the hot bath experiences as well as the resting experiences until noon. What a delight! We opted for some massages and they were great! The signature massage was relaxing and hit the spot, the masseuse was very competent. In fact, the staff was great. (maybe because we didn't talk! LOL) When we got out of our massages, there were finally some patrons but not near enough to be considered of note. It truly felt like a retreat. It's not cheap but it's certainly worth it. Nature in spring is beautiful with springs flowing around you from up the hill (with a nice path to walk and meditate!) and look forward to perhaps came back to experience it once again in the fall.
