I've read about this being the place to go for getting supplies for anything vintage Mako. Many of the FB groups mention this place but you have no idea how large it is till you get there. I checked my watch it said I walked 2.5 miles while there. I slept very well that night. Since they bought out the inventory from the original Mako from Miami, after the bass pro acquisition. It took about 3 hours to get here and we left extra early to beat all the traffic. Sadly we spent only 3 hours shopping. I barely got a chance to see everything. I found plenty of supplies but came short with only one off-set engine bracket. I needed a single but this one was too big. Staff here was friendly and willing to help out. With questions and loading up the purchase. 10/2022 Service 5 Location 4 Parking a truck/trailer here can be a challenge. Plus 6 hours of driving and high diesel cost. Will probably come again on a weekend when we can spend more time browsing the rest of the store. Value 5

I expect they are successful because of the nearly captive audience of people staying at Safe Harbor marina. I honestly don't understand how any place stays in business when they rarely pick up the phone, and don't return voicemails. I definitely felt like I had to chase them down to throw money at them. Beyond the communication issues, my boat was brought in for an overheating issue. They replaced a raw water pump, and said they tested everything, and the boat was ready to go to Daytona. We didn't make it out of the Ft Pierce inlet before the engine overheated massively and filled the interior with steam. We cut it off and waited for SeaTow to drag us back to the dock. There were other issues that caused the overheating, so they don't get all the blame, but it's my opinion that their "testing" of the repair wasn't sufficient. I did have a positive experience with Nicole. She's super nice, and on point. She's the reason for the second star.

We had a great experience with Heritage Boatyard in Ft Pierce FL…read more Sally, the owner, Ann, and Erin, were all super helpful in the office before and while we were in the yard. Communication was excellent. Sally's son Jason is a real pro at running the lift and everyone treated our boat with care. Paco sanded the boat and did the best job we've ever had. If we knew how meticulously he worked, we would have had him paint the bottom as well instead of doing it ourselves. We were in/out in a week and they happily moved stands, put us up in the lift, and never rushed us. Also, cost of paint and supplies we purchased from the yard was less than we could have purchased anywhere else. A very good experience and we will be back!
